Hi, love the pond and your filtration solution. I’m fiddling with mine at the moment and interested to know what micron sock it is that you’ve found works best? I’m currently using a seize and sometimes have to clean it a few times a day, especially right now as I’ve got last years dead algae peeling off the sides of the pond.
Hi, high micron/seive I found too much maintenance for me! I found fine filter bags with draw strings which I've used for a few years now. I can't remember the micron though but think anything below 300 will be regular cleaning.
See link to type of filter sock I use www.ebay.co.uk/itm/373446646625?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=DhN84c-wRai&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=XcyGYwiqSsS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@@chrisnortcliffe3663 Hi, it would but I think you would need bigger filters for 12 x 12 as these two Small Yamitsu vortex handle 4k so a 5k pump max.
Glad to see im not alone with old school tactics water looks superb
im wondering if pp would knock down amonia be a nice little test
My brain and instinct is saying it wouldn't but may add due to PP killing off organic matter?
Amazing pond Keith, looks really good.
