    HELEN.
    I love your videos.
    But there is one problem that I think all of your viewers can agree.
    The sound quality of your videos change like crazy.
    There's way too much noise in the background.
    It needs to be consistent. :(
    Perhaps invest in a dynamic microphone or a cardoid microphone.
    (They are directional mics)
    Or you could put up some acoustic foam to dampen the echo.
    Other than that, you're doing great!
    Thank you for spreading the knowledge of our wonderful cuisine!
    Love,
    Ellen.

    This really looks great. Thanks for suggesting a vegetarian option. Would I use the larger type of dried mushrooms I find in the Chinese grocery? I can always get a variety of fresh mushrooms if it is best to combine a couple of varieties? Your videos are wonderful and I never have any trouble with the sound quality, you have a lovely speaking voice and it comes thru very nicely for me. Thanks for your hard work!

    This is my favorite way to eat tofu. I love this recipe. Is there typically woodear mushroom in this, though, or am I mis-remembering? BTW, the video quality has greatly improved from previous videos, so YAY!! I know you're working on the sound so I can't wait for the next video. I hope you make the fried fish recipe in tomato sauce. I love that recipe, too.

    Helen, What type of knife is that, the one you use to chop you vegetables? All my my knives are horrible and I am looking to get a replacement.

    • @Grufian1
      @Grufian1 9 лет назад

      All knives are available in various quality levels and prices. The most important thing is to keep your knives SHARP so that you are never forcing when cutting.

    • @Verhoh
      @Verhoh 9 лет назад

      Dan McLaughlin I am very happy with my Globals; not the cheapest but razor sharp. Most important is to keep them sharp by using a steel on very regular base. Also pay good attention to your cutting board; a knife, a cutting board and you knive skills work as a threesome team.

    Tôi cũng hay làm món này cho cả nhà. Trước khi bỏ vào chung với sốt cà chua tôi thường chiên sơ đậu hủ, để cho nó hơi săn giòn một tí. Ăn ngon hon la khi khong chien.. Cách trang trí của H không bắt mắt lắm. mình thấy nên để đĩa nhỏ hơn nhìn không quá lỏng lẻo và ấm hơn có cảm giác cơm gia đình.

    • @hahna1011
      @hahna1011 9 лет назад +1

      Hồng Diễm Bùi mình thì nghĩ ko chiên sơ sẽ hay hơn, vì chiên thì nhiều dầu mỡ quá, ăn sẽ ngán. hoặc những người kiêng dầu mỡ cũng sẽ hạn chế chiên thêm tofu :D

    • @graceng5459
      @graceng5459 7 лет назад

      TRAM ANH TRAN Đồng ý với bạn, hiện giờ mình đang ốm nghén tới tháng thứ 7 rồi, mình cực kỳ sợ mùi chiên dầu, mỡ, tỏi, hành nên nhìn đồ chiên dầu giờ chỉ còn cảm giác sợ và ớn chớ hông hề thấy thơm ngon chỗ nào. Vì khi ốm nghén chính là lúc cơ thể thay đổi để bảo vệ baby trong bụng khỏi những thức ăn độc hại, nên mình hiện giờ chỉ có thể ăn đồ luộc, hấp và nướng thôi, 100% không chiên dầu mới không bị ói xanh mặt 😫

    -_- I can't make this because I don't eat meat and I try to stay away from oil. The whole point of tofu (for me) is to stay away from meat, so this recipe defeats the purpose. -_-

    • @HelenRecipes
      @HelenRecipes  8 лет назад +2

      Helen's Recipes (Vietnamese Food) Good idea. Whenever a recipe uses meat or oil, or anything I don't want to use, I always try to tweak it for my liking.
