+1 for notched 2x6 stands. +1 for stainless steel rods to sink the zucchini. +1 for the shout out. Great fish room. Organized and clean. Nice selections of fish. 😉👍

But do you have any advice for breeding? LOL
Dim the lights, light the candles and get some Barry White playing on the hifi.

great tour, thank you Michael. I never considered gnats with matten's. Im glad I just bought a bunch of large sponge filters from Corey. I was considering the mattens also for my new tanks but this helped me decide.

That’s the same corner filter I use they work great, hey Michael you will love the coop filter I use both the corner filter/ and coop filter in same tank.
I have them in about 20 tanks already.
Loved this! Excellent tour and great fish room! Never heard about gnats with matten filters before. Definitely not gonna consider matten filters for my future fish room. No bugs for me. Lots of great info from these breeders too.

Love this fish room. I would love a few of the smallest type of plecos for my 29g but I don't have any luck with plecos so I stay away from them.. Great video Mike.

A lot of great tanks and info. A well setup room and clean neat and tidy. A nice variety of plecos. Thanks for the video Micahel keep up this kind of stuff as well as your home footage.. I like to see how other pleco breeders do things which sometimes gives me ideas for my room or set ups.
** Question.. what is the white wiggly worm like thing in the gopro footage tank? it appears several times near the back of the tank where the glass join is early on and also near the cave and plant and filter @ 28:09, @ 29:28 and several times in the same area after that time to the end of the video, and it is not a piece of the cucumber it is visibly swimming.....
I don't see a worm, sorry!

They dont compite for the same foods, and when you are away they are a great snack food

Once again.. I loved the last song you put on the outro it reminds me of when I was younger and loved being me.. But as far as plecos I am happy to see this video since I am breeding albino bristle nose and long fins I kinda wish they went into what foods they fed a but more but it was a good video

Awesome fish room, and breeding setup. What are they using for substrate, is there a link for the corner tracks for the lids, and do you have any info for me about the Rapashy?
Not sure about the substrate, "Corner tracks for lids"?, and repashy is a gel food you make yourself. You can get it @KJE Aquatics on Facebook.
@@MichaelsFishRoom thanks, the lids they had on the tanks you said they were corner tracks, they allow the glass to slide open. I can't find them anywhere.
For your gnat problem. Try ARBICO Organics. They have Gnat Sticks. A yellow sticky trap plus others and all organic pest solutions.

I’d love to get a pleco from you soon as I have an algae overgrowth and am struggling to control it. Are there certain color types that don’t do as well? I like the calico and lemon ones but would prefer something that is going to stay more healthy
All the ancistrus plecos are about the same. But you should fix the cause of of the algae issue as well.
Im in northeast Philadelphia and have been perusing your store site for some fish. I wonder if we have similar water parameters.

I use stainless steel skewers hang them off the side and don’t need to fish out the fork or rod or whatever lol

@@MichaelsFishRoom thanks! Yeah, I breed plecos too and was trying to cut down on the cost of feeding fresh zucchini hah. It gets expensive!
