Why would you need frame sliders ? Why not just make the axle shorter so there's no way it will contact the ground. Do you have any specs on the motor? Stator / magnet width ? Kv or turn count ? And it's 6.5" or is it 6" ?
Yes you do need to solder unless you bought the g30D controller at the same time as the fatmax. If so, they will solder the controller for you before they ship it.
Can you post a video explaining the difference between this motor and the normal stock motor ? Is there a speed difference? Do u have to run a 48v battery for the wheel to work ?
Wish they have 10x3 wheels with PMT tires onto segway ninebot max that be looking real bad ass 🙏
Do I also need a batter pack or is the motor upgrade enough to boost my speed ?
whats battery life like with this thing installed I feel like this would murder the battery so fast
Would it be possible to call the fasteners by the correct name ?
this video shows a six year old how to change a wheel motor
Why not add the blank end bit inside the gold mounts for double protection!?
Thats a great idea!
Will the Fat Max work with stock Max Controller? Nothing else needed?
Yes it will :)
tubed or tubless ???
Heute kam der Motor an dreht aber rückwärts egal was ich mache?
Wish they should made 60v that would be insane to feeling more powerful then most 48v 👌
Wonder if anyone tried with sinewave controller
Where is the video showing its performance paired with the 48v battery upgrade?
No answer?
@@daquekenfor6901 with the 48v you will get more speed than 36v but you will do just fine with 36v stock on the fat max
What would cause I to spin backwards but when I change the blue blue yellow yellow I get nothing
What difference in performance between Gen 1 and Gen 2? Will this motor make them basically the same performance?
Its a different league all together. This is twice the size in magnets and windings :D Fat Max will get you more speed than either of them
@@Mymaxmods So if someone has the Gen 1 how fast will it go?
@@carrickdubya4765 Depends on voltage stock 24-25mph, 48v 29-33mph
@@Mymaxmods what about 60v?
@@Menalix We have run these at 72v :D 60v is fine
Has anyone tried to rig up 2 of these bad boys similar to what monorim has done with their motors
you need a different controller for that, then different brakes, then bigger battery. Might as well buy the right scooter.
@@AJ-we9kd Vsett 10+
Now someone has
@@AJ-we9kd the guy that did it , used 2 of the same controllers hooked up to the same battery pack, a 48V I believe.

Reason for sliders.. if you fall off will protect the ninebot max frame being damaged LIKE scratch or dents . Chris keep up great work ...legend 👌
I noticed he BLEW over something about soldering???

I've read somewhere that you don't need a 48v battery for it, you will still get a pretty good performance boost without it
Stock motor is 350 watt. Fat Max is 1500 watt. More power, but more DRAW.

can you show how to instal with the original controler
Click our profile and goes over installing mr60 to original controller :)
