I can relate to how Trey might have felt. When you're not the child who is in the current family, you know that you're not getting a big chunk of time like the other kids are. It can be real, imagined, or a combination of both, but its all about what you perceive the current family is like. In your mind, they spend all their time together and you are left out in the cold. It may not be necessarily true, but in your mind it is.
And all those holidays together and having the ex over like Jada was doing meant absolutely nothing. They did it all for Trey and at the end he still felt like an outsider

Jada saw how Wills first son was missing his dad so went about having a talk to 1st Ms Smith. All3 adults made a pact that just because he and his first wife divorced Will & Jada were a big part of his oldest son so grew up knowing that he was loved by all. So many ppl who divorce put the kids in the middle & it messes them up. But that didnt happen.
What's more important is the kids, the 3 of them which are now grown care for each other❤️ that's very special. This tells a lot about the love of a father for his 3 children.

They should be taught love responsibility and consequences/discipline as a part of growing up! Discipline doesn't have to mean a spanking/whooping/ swats but if nothing else works and a spanking will it, never hurt any of the hundreds of trillions of people who came before them! I had swats growing up which was a quick sure fire way of teaching me don't do that and a quick threat if I even thought of it again would convince me not to do so again! I like some of what the Smiths implemented into their techniques in that the kids rooms belonged to their parents! They were only roomers there until they grew up and got their own homes as such they had responsibilities in being a roomer in their home, such as keeping it clean and their restrooms etc. I think the clean thing had a bit a keep it how u want it vibe so if they trashed it nothing was said but they must keep the rest of the house in order if they got a drink ate etc they needed to clean after themselves in someone's home that didn't necessarily belong to them kind of thing...iwould imagine they worked it that way, I know the roomer like room and board is true heard Will and Jada tell it!

I Totally Agree, it was more about Will and his Family with Jada Pinkett~Smith and not enough said about his first Son.
Jada saw how Wills first son was missing his dad so went about having a talk to 1st Ms Smith. All3 adults made a pact that just because he and his first wife divorced Will & Jada were a big part of his oldest son so grew up knowing that he was loved by all. So many ppl who divorce put the kids in the middle & it messes them up. But that didnt happen.

Very well said!!! I agree 100% They appear to be loving and inclusive of the blended family & techniques and making sure the kids know they are loved! They should be taught love responsibility and consequences/discipline as a part of growing up! Discipline doesn't have to mean a spanking/whooping/ swats but if nothing else works and a spanking will it, never hurt any of the hundreds of trillions of people who came before them!
I had swats growing up which was a quick sure fire way of teaching me don't do that and a quick threat if I even thought of it again would convince me not to do so again! I like some of what the Smiths implemented into their techniques in that the kids rooms belonged to their parents! They were only roomers there until they grew up and got their own homes as such they had responsibilities in being a roomer in their home, such as keeping it clean and their restrooms etc. I think the clean thing had a bit a keep it how u want it vibe so if they trashed it nothing was said but they must keep the rest of the house in order if they got a drink ate etc they needed to clean after themselves in someone's home that didn't necessarily belong to them kind of thing...iwould imagine they worked it that way, I know the roomer like room and board is true heard Will and Jada tell it!

I really love the smith family,and I’m just happy there all came together and try to make it work no matter what was happening,and lord know I know it was hard,cause it hard for us as kids to see our parents divorce and separate from each other.it creates a hug hold in a kids heart and no matter what you do it can never go away.but I’m happy there were able to find piece and love with each other and make it work,and all three kids build a bond and was able to get along through everything together

I am trying so hard to get my relationship with my oldest son mended bcuz of lies told to him his whole life by his father Even though I have been in his life! Plus, my husband and I have been trying to get along with my 3kids' their father and his girlfriend BUT they REFUSE TO GET ALONG. So, I'm glad that things worked out for them ... All of them ...
