Nah lmao they don't have Clash because the game was dead. Back when we had our first Clash, some teams was put in bracket where there's only 1-3 teams because there's not enough teams registered for Clash.
At this point Riot doesnt care about SEA they only do thanks to Wildrift but its pc playerbase is abandoned Friskkle also forgot to mention it's server file corruption making your entire client stuck at a pending screen. That issue is unfixable btw

I play on the Philippines server, and randomly at night I get games where I have 150-200 ping at the start until like 30 mins into the game. And its not an internet problem, because everywhere else is fine. Also I’m not the only experiencing this but I had a lobby once where all of the players in the lobby were experiencing lag

I'm in Vietnam which Garena is operate and I can confirm all of this is true. Also, November 18 is when Garena give back League to Riot but since Vietnam has law required a local company to distributed games so they gave it to VNG and if you ask any Vietnamese what VNG was and how they run their games bussines, you will understand how we avoid one teemo's mushroom just to step into another one. Hope Riot will have greater control over the game here.

Man I remember whenever the loading. Screen takes a long ass time to finish I just know I had to just uninstall the game altogether because for some reason repairing the game doesn't do anything to me and I just had to reinstall the game. Thank god riot decided to cut ties with that company
And a fun thing for you to know. Tools and Hack happen here and there in the god damn game. Sion ult can turn 90 degree, skill lock Xerath, etc is something "garena league" player have to deal with. And sometimes we have bots in pvp games and will make your account locked in the game even when the game had already ended, aka you can't report the player/ account and can't start a new game until garena decided you have "done" with the previous one.
Pretty sure the Sion and Xerath scripts also exist in Riot regions. But yeah botting is much more noticeable especially when twisted treeline was still here, every match you find there, you're fighting bots
I think you forgot to mention the Garena League Client black screen bug, which is happening to me for almost a year now. My friends and I stopped playing League not because we want to, but because we can't.
The reason why Draft Mode was removed, according to a former Garena PH employee, is because almost nobody plays on that mode and is not worth maintaining.
I had the problem of not being able to join games because the game doesn't send me the "Accept game" notice and then Punishing me for it and giving me a game time out that at first was only 5 minutes for the first offense and then eventually giving me a 2 or 4 day game ban and placing me in low priority games, the kind where players of wood rank and players infamous for rage quit or leaving game dwells.
In the Vietnam server, most of the new epic skins are boosted into legendary for some reasons, the price is still epic tier tho... Not to mention so many new skins are "limited"
@@Friskkle As a Vietnamese player, I can say everything he said is true, also Garena treats League's players like shit, always milking us with various expensive gacha events, which grab many skins into limited and we can only have that by spending money on those banners, and of course, it is not budget-friendly. In addition, those banners also make the Riot client which has many bugs and lags become laggier. Imagine the first thing you see when you open the game is 5 fucking banners which look like those on mobile games, pop into your face and it is the most frustrating experience you have ever seen. And then I tried the NA version which has more players but the ping is just really high for me to enjoy the game. And I don't know why it's really slow to download the game in garena launcher when there's no problem with my internet connection. And now in 2023 I can finally moved to League after playing Dota since 2013 because thank God Riot finally took over. I wish riot can just make the game server like valve did with dota, no need for having different versions of the game, no need for another account. But with just a simple click

It's apparently hard for Riot to actually take the game back because Garena holds player data, which means that if Riot were to terminate their contract with Garena and take League back, all account data in Garena would disappear, so not much they can do.
As someone from the Philippines and a veteran player, so what will happen to our accounts once the contract has ended considering all the skins, level, collections, etc.

Well i really dont mind garena. I purchased only 1 cheap skin and bundle for 500php ($9.20 USD before) for each account and got several free skins composed of ultimate, epic and legendary skins for both summoner's rift and tft. Definitely worth it since i managed to transfer it from garena to riot successfully. Now i was able to transfer 15 accounts successfully. In summary, i wont spend money anymore on new skin features in the future since i have almost everything. Thanks garena 😎
You forgot to mention some negligence and charity participations. Aside from clash, there are other things that we, garena players aren't receiving. One is the charity suport for covid where riot released borders and chromas for medical skins. This is a great way to help the victims knowing us players can contribute and I ought to buy the bundles as I am a collector myself but sadly, Garena didn't want to participate on this and this bundles didn't land or garena servers. Garena has some other ways where you can get the borders - and yes as what mentioned on the video, through an event where they can cash grab. But what's the point of getting it when you couldn't help people which is the mere reason that borders/chromas was created at the forst place. They've use this opportunity to get money from us as they know, people who mains these champions will take a bite on the event - where they can fully get all the miney into their pockets. Such a shame.
I literally had a connection issue just yesterday where 3 of my teammates and myself were disconnected (We were all randos to each other). I would always stop the auto update and download a manual patch from the website. Its always stuck at 25% and it uses alot of disk usage for unnecessary long periods of time.

I played Garena and Riot league. the funny thing is I play better in Riot NA server with 240ms pings than Garena SEA server with 70ms pings. the reason that I play worse in Garena SEA server because my game keep stuttering and it's not playable for me, I can't even CS. and mostly 10 - 30 mins of waiting to get a match. Garena sucks
i have this problem this year whenever I open the garena client for the first time (of the daay). my PC would detect the ALT key to be permanently pressed. and i have to restart my pc for it to go away. never had that problem ever since I uninstalled garena.
The only thing that bugs me is in Garena PH server, I'm having a bad time using buffer mechanics (ex. using Ezreal 'E' buffer on enemy CC, or F+R buffer on LS insec) even i have 3-9ms whereas I'm playing on JP server with 50-80ms and never missed a buffer specially on Camille 'E' vs CC and LS buffer. Maybe it is on the server tick rate that im having issues with or jitter
i have been playing since season 2 in 2011 on SEA servers and when the migration came i linked it to my riot account and now it does not show it anymore all the time and money spent on the game is fucking lost. THANKS RITO!
From what we know, it's not completely clear how and when the data will be transferred, so to be safe, if you have any RP transactions you want to make, do it before linking. But best case scenario is that they will transfer the data when Garena closes their servers.
Every time i play league sometime it black screen with no reason and it ended up at leavebuster and penalties i always do aram for now because of that bug and now im 2 day bannes for playing because of that sh*t bug
For me I prefer garena over how it is right now. Because before I hardly have an issue with the PING and I got that Juicy 1 PING. But right now the lowest is 32 and if other players has that application that can cause data traffic the game is really unplayable. I hope this will be fix soon.
your Garena LoL data will be merged to SEA account on Riot. If you have another game seed (if you played on other region), you can migrate it to SEA server as well (ex. from NA to SEA; EUWest to SEA), very useful if you are a _balikbayan_ and you have old riot accounts on that region and you are staying in SEA.
Only Vietnam got away from a Garena's mess. No wonder, only Vietnam could keep it alive, competitively, when representing SEA LOL in big LOL tournament

That's why i uninstalled garena on my pc and then just downloaded lol straight from Riot original website and then played on Oceania server with 110-150 pings which is still playable for me and also faster matchmaking.

Right now the Riot SG2 singapore servers are packed with trolls, high ranked players making smurfs to bully low rank / new players/ account boosting. Kids who only playa ram are palying ranked ruining the game for everybody. Foreign players outside of singapore are palying in singapore trolling and being extreemly sueless/ toxic. The idiocy level of the Riot SG2 client has reach a whole new level and if there's someone to pblame its their parents. The arents even find these chidlren annoying and need to keep them distracted. Every game i ask msyelf this question, " My teammates have no self respect do they?" 0 MASCULINITY 0 SELF RESPECT. Players many years ago and on garena had that. they ahd self respect and played their best. This generation + all the problems i mentioned makes RiotSG2 the worst place to play competetive league of leegnds and i quit after 10 years. No problems on garena. I didnt care about skins. garena scams money but they provide good gameplay, experience and match making, RIOT fails SIGNIFICANTLY.

for info, we can manually update the patch by "Manual Patch" below the "Repair" option. its a lot faster than the standard garena patch update.
In Philippines, queuing rank actually takes a very long time (10 to 15 mins) and that is a low Elo queue. The most active game mode now is TFT
The SG server is basically the same, blind and TFT are the only fast queues, even the event game modes get long queues after a couple days of release

You forgot to mention some negligence and charity participations. Aside from clash, there are other things that we, garena players aren't receiving.
One is the charity suport for covid where riot released borders and chromas for medical skins. This is a great way to help the victims knowing us players can contribute and I ought to buy the bundles as I am a collector myself but sadly, Garena didn't want to participate on this and this bundles didn't land or garena servers. Garena has some other ways where you can get the borders - and yes as what mentioned on the video, through an event where they can cash grab. But what's the point of getting it when you couldn't help people which is the mere reason that borders/chromas was created at the forst place.
They've use this opportunity to get money from us as they know, people who mains these champions will take a bite on the event - where they can fully get all the miney into their pockets. Such a shame.
Kinda want to riot handle the sea region and waiting for character transfer.

I literally had a connection issue just yesterday where 3 of my teammates and myself were disconnected (We were all randos to each other). I would always stop the auto update and download a manual patch from the website. Its always stuck at 25% and it uses alot of disk usage for unnecessary long periods of time.
I could've sworn back when they had the old garena client where it would launch an installer to update your game, it was twice as fast in updating
Yups this was one of the reason why I stayed with Garena+ for much longer before moving to the new client when they fully discontinued it.

I played Garena and Riot league. the funny thing is I play better in Riot NA server with 240ms pings than Garena SEA server with 70ms pings. the reason that I play worse in Garena SEA server because my game keep stuttering and it's not playable for me, I can't even CS. and mostly 10 - 30 mins of waiting to get a match. Garena sucks

i have this problem this year whenever I open the garena client for the first time (of the daay). my PC would detect the ALT key to be permanently pressed. and i have to restart my pc for it to go away.
never had that problem ever since I uninstalled garena.

The only thing that bugs me is in Garena PH server, I'm having a bad time using buffer mechanics (ex. using Ezreal 'E' buffer on enemy CC, or F+R buffer on LS insec) even i have 3-9ms whereas I'm playing on JP server with 50-80ms and never missed a buffer specially on Camille 'E' vs CC and LS buffer. Maybe it is on the server tick rate that im having issues with or jitter
i have been playing since season 2 in 2011 on SEA servers and when the migration came i linked it to my riot account and now it does not show it anymore all the time and money spent on the game is fucking lost. THANKS RITO!

From what we know, it's not completely clear how and when the data will be transferred, so to be safe, if you have any RP transactions you want to make, do it before linking. But best case scenario is that they will transfer the data when Garena closes their servers.
Big issue that made me lose trust to garena completely is that they have cryptomining running in your background
I now have garena installed on an external hard disk, so they won't run anything until I want to open it
Every time i play league sometime it black screen with no reason and it ended up at leavebuster and penalties i always do aram for now because of that bug and now im 2 day bannes for playing because of that sh*t bug

For me I prefer garena over how it is right now. Because before I hardly have an issue with the PING and I got that Juicy 1 PING. But right now the lowest is 32 and if other players has that application that can cause data traffic the game is really unplayable. I hope this will be fix soon.

your Garena LoL data will be merged to SEA account on Riot. If you have another game seed (if you played on other region), you can migrate it to SEA server as well (ex. from NA to SEA; EUWest to SEA), very useful if you are a _balikbayan_ and you have old riot accounts on that region and you are staying in SEA.

bro on the main league of legends game I can login without problem even if my ping is high but when I try in garena I'm always stuck in infinit loading screen, I have 20mbps but it can run the main league but the garena league it still won't work it sucks so bad
It's a problem with the internet IP address I would assume, it's happened to me and it only ever got fixed by using a VPN.
atleast we are having free events that gives us tons of loot for literally free that's the only good side on garena

The garena client is so fucking horrible and some people always stuck in client while they should be in-game, and when we complain they always said to do re-install or re-download a whole of client instead fixing the problem. Yeah, I live in Myanmar and it sucks, I really wanna be able to play on Riot servers like LOR and Valorant. But cuz of high ping, I can only play from Garena(for league I mean, I can play LOR and Valo on Riot servers).

man, I'm going to miss garena. now that Riot is transferring SEA players to their servers. i will miss saying words that i'm not supposed to say. especially now since you'll get muted now for swearing. because in my country it's more fun to play games when toxicity is involved. the way that the enemy team trashtalks you and still win at the end. sometimes people will even argue in the end screen. I will miss garena so much bro. since Philippines server isn't bad 5 minutes queue time, low ping, active customs

That's why i uninstalled garena on my pc and then just downloaded lol straight from Riot original website and then played on Oceania server with 110-150 pings which is still playable for me and also faster matchmaking.

bro belive me when i say this. Garena did a much better job then Riot. Right now the Riot SG2 singapore servers are packed with trolls, high ranked players making smurfs to bully low rank / new players/ account boosting. Kids who only playa ram are palying ranked ruining the game for everybody. Foreign players outside of singapore are palying in singapore trolling and being extreemly sueless/ toxic. The idiocy level of the Riot SG2 client has reach a whole new level and if there's someone to pblame its their parents. The arents even find these chidlren annoying and need to keep them distracted. Every game i ask msyelf this question, " My teammates have no self respect do they?" 0 MASCULINITY 0 SELF RESPECT. Players many years ago and on garena had that. they ahd self respect and played their best. This generation + all the problems i mentioned makes RiotSG2 the worst place to play competetive league of leegnds and i quit after 10 years. No problems on garena. I didnt care about skins. garena scams money but they provide good gameplay, experience and match making, RIOT fails SIGNIFICANTLY.
