I just added the trifecta tune on my 15 2.0 it's a beast now I recommend for the turbo malibus

Malibu Tuning and Friends 3.6L 2009, moteur stock, spaceur 1", jai fait rire de moi dans les shop quand je cherchai des spaceurs pour mon malibu, mais le resultat est bien, juste assez pour pas me faire coller . Fait 6 ans jle bat sans pitier pis j'ai encore aucune reparation a faire dessu, vraiment solid les malibu et porte bien sur la route.

How'd you do a burnout with holding E-brake? The e-brake locks all 4 wheels as its electric..
not in this generation Malibu, its an actual (not a footpedal) handbrake
In my 2013 Malibu you turn traction control off and hold the button up to lock the rear wheels. I've smoked the tires on mine before.
My old 2013 had a E-brake but in my 2015 I have a hand brake.

Oof an lt would not be good for upgrading, keep it economical. BUT, I have the same (more or less) gen as you. I have a ‘16 2.0T premier and I put the following:
1. Trifecta Tune
2. AEM cold air intake
3. Borla exhaust
4. *Soon* Performance Intercooler
5. *Hypothetical* Bigger Turbo
Thanks for the vid! Im a family man now, bought a 16 premier and I’m actually impressed with it. I’d love to know more about the tune you have and if you did it yourself. For some reason I can’t engage the auto shift on it. Your jump off the start is crazy. In mine RPM need to be a little about 1600 to get a good kick, if not it’s a bit of a dog
Go to Trifecta Tunes. I paid around $350. for mine. The tune changes HP, Torque and changes the transmissions shift patterns.
Why not cold air intake?
I've tried AEM short ram air intake and I did not like so I changed for a ZZP silicone tube with a K&N air filter in stock airbox and the was better. Now I have the best short ram air intake with the Injen model. The result is great!
Did this car come in manual? When did they stop?
No automatic with manual mode.

I love my Malibu. People wanting more power out of this car well the sad part is You can push more HP the problem is the engine with just tuning no aftermarket parts gives in at 525 HP. The 2nd bad part is the transmission has 1 part that will give in at 350 hp. That's why Trifeca made a safe build tune.
What audi was that and isn't 3 inch exhaust too big for a 4 cylinder? Too big of an exhaust makes you lose acceleration, but gives you more top speed. Also look at AEM fenderwell cold air intake.
Korey Mayo that first Audi is likely a S6 or RS6 and the turbocharger on the Malibu provides plenty of back pressure to the engine. Honestly the car doesn’t need an exhaust larger than 2.5 but the 3” does make more noise.
@@brandonswitzer6957 I just test drove a 2016 Malibu premier this week and couldn't believe how fast it was and zero throttle lag compared to 2011 Malibu! But still I'd rather have a 2018 Mazda 6 signature with the 2.5 turbo fully loaded because it has more features and looks nicer I think.
Also I was disappointed in how weak the ventilated seats were in the Malibu and the fact that you can't get fog lights.
@@brandonswitzer6957 what is a ZZP silicone tube? I thought ZZP doesn't make upgrades for the Malibu?
They are stupid fast for what they are, zzp makes an intake for their sister car, the Buick GS. I don’t own one personally, but I am in the market for one in the next year, try to find a cheaper 17 with some warranty left would be nice. The dealership I work for has a 14 premier that I enjoy driving when capable, which is surprising given I’ve only owned coupe “sports cars” prior to my current Jeep.

I've the same tune been running it since 2013 to now with an Injen intake. We've had no problems and we have 121,786 miles on the car. Still pulls nicely. Haven't had the chance to push past 145 mph and she gets there quick with the 19 inch wheels.

So you are picking up 100hp from a tune and 135 FPT. You can tell the bullshitters from a mile away. It’s not possible on stock injectors. Malibu’s injectors max out at 300hp. That’s 95% duty cycle. So I would love to know where you came up with these numbers. I’m guessing just not being informed and guessing? Trans is also a grenade waiting to explode at 350 HP

@@csaleen302 Also Trifecta did push that Malibu up to 525 hp then the engine have in on only tuning. Yes 1 part in the Transmission does give in 350 I just don't remember what the part was.
@@csaleen3022.0t have 259 hp from stock! Tune gives it and extra 66 ish and then cold air intake around 15 ish. Thats how u get 325 - 350 hp. No bullshitting
