As a welder and metalworker, I find your work absolutely stunning and motivating. One question with this project; you were forging stainless steel and I know from welding stainless that if you overheat it, you burn out the chromium and thus destroy the stainless. Do you only use a torch to enable you to better control the heat and then watch the color of the heat to not over do it, or am I witnessing more of the Max Randolph witchcraft? Thanks for all that you have shared and will share in the future.

So we started making some together. But i've been reluctant the entire time, because to me it does not look like something which sells for a lot of money. I've been watching your videos the last couple of days and it is a true blessing. I learn SO much by just watching you and i have now an actual vision to go forth with those chandeliers. I have seen roses and whatnot at the renn Faire, and I imagine yours are beautiful. The ones at Faire always seem to be a little stiff and lack fullness and delicacy, but to me delicacy is one of the hallmarks of your work. It's one of the reasons it's so appealing; the delicate, flowing details. (Also I apologize for the somewhat overly poetic language. I'm a writer sometimes and I can't really think of a better way to describe it. It's the kind of work that makes me want to have others feel through my words what I feel when I view it.)
