As a welder and metalworker, I find your work absolutely stunning and motivating. One question with this project; you were forging stainless steel and I know from welding stainless that if you overheat it, you burn out the chromium and thus destroy the stainless. Do you only use a torch to enable you to better control the heat and then watch the color of the heat to not over do it, or am I witnessing more of the Max Randolph witchcraft? Thanks for all that you have shared and will share in the future.
Your work, large and small, is breath-taking. Your thought and planning, and attention to detail are incredible. You add all the little touches that might not be obvious but make all the difference.
When someone's work area is your dream goals, but you love your little shed to much 😅... you have amazing skills though!! Glad I came across your channel 🤓
Man, so i'm a beginning blacksmith and been welding for 2 years now. My collegue was talking about making these chandeliers with forging techniques, which he used to sell for a lot of money. So we started making some together. But i've been reluctant the entire time, because to me it does not look like something which sells for a lot of money. I've been watching your videos the last couple of days and it is a true blessing. I learn SO much by just watching you and i have now an actual vision to go forth with those chandeliers. I thank you SO much, i'm not a super artistic guy, but watching you in your smallish shop is exactly the way i wanna go forward on this quest. Thanks, thanks, thanks!
Please don't get me wrong, though. I do not strive to be a copycat. You are a mastermind, a genius. I will never be on that level. But damn sure i will carve my own path on this road of steel and metals.
I work with a lot of tradesmen. I admire their skill. This however is transcendent. Your passion and vision are transformative and call me back to some ancient ancestral roots. A time that feels like a forgotten dream from long ago. Thank you for sharing! Keep the forges hot!

@@Max_Randolph_Studios Oh wow, that's a lot of experience (tho I have no idea how old you are, the little dusting of grey in your hair implies at least approaching middle age.).
