Wow, CDL driver here. Work for energy company. I'll clear 150k a year. FYI another company paid me and paid for my CDL! $80k is not worth 200k in student loans!
That’s basically the maximum salary for physiotherapists in Australia. Lol. If you convert $80K (USD) to $125k (AUD). You basically need the highest possible ATAR or equivalent to get in a University to study it for 4 years ($51k per year at my local University). Absolute scam.
@@nickgallegos430 what two year degree tho. Because a 2 year physical therapist assistant degree in TX (or any other 2 year health science degree) is going to average at 45k-55k as well as awful benefits
@@ryanpc4039 some good ones are nursing, mri/rad tech , sonography and even dental hygienist all two year programs at local community college of ay anywhere from 60 to 100k. I personally did the nursing in 2 years then ended up in whole new field.
Joined the Army after HS, did 4 years. Sir I am enrolled into physical therapy 1st year…can you tell me by the age you retired from you middle age experience towards the end of your career what variety to money did you made annually…it would be a great help to boost up my confidence
The median salary is almost 100K. I work in a rehab field that is paid less on average and am starting at 109K. It depends on where you work and which setting. Hospitals don’t pay as well as home health for example.
hi sir my bpt course will start in 2025 then i am thinking to do masters in australia can you tell me how much money a physiotherapist make in australia it will boost my confidence and which area i can do specialty
People love to hate on the corporate world but I’m in year 4 of my career in the corporate world and make much more than that. Plus my bachelors is much cheaper than her school.
@ I’m a National Account Manager and I have a Finance degree. Any business degree is very valuable in the corporate world but finance is a “tougher” degree so even more valuable.
For everyome saying she doesn't make enough for 7 years of school. She is only 2 years in her career. She will make well into 6 figures mid career and she has a doctorate degree. She can teach at the university level as a second career!! Lets not talk down on people who accomplish their academic and career goals. Good for her!!
Am I the only one who thinks that 80k is fine? You guys have gotta stop being so greedy man I swear. The way I see it is as long as I have enough money to live comfortably, that’s all that matters. 80,000 invested into a 401k will allow for a comfortable retirement when your 60s are reached as well as the healthcare worker benefits that are given. You don’t need to be making 6 figures to be ecstatic with your life
For 1 More she coulda been in residency made 50-75k a year for 4 years and then make 350+ lmao so not exactly 3 years but still she coulda made the same amount and then made a lot more I think she's getting underpaid right now anyway should be making 100k
PAs go to one year less school and make about 50k more than PTs per year 🤦🏻♂️ As a PT myself I love what I do but seriously question if the reimbursement was worth it
7 years of school for $80k is crazy
Physical therapist Assitants make 55k+ in that area, for a TWO year degree. She’s getting scammed
I make that debt free with a certificate
@@DevInHisBag Yeah, I agree. That sounds way too low.
@@thedoc6932 show/tell me how
For 7 years of anything, she should be making around $100 - 120k minimum
I can relate to this hard, it’s tough out here for PTs. You definitely do PT for the fulfillment it brings and not the pay
Hannah is a very talented and welcoming interviewer! ✌🏿🙏🏿
Thank you! 💚
I’m shook on the PT salaries. Make more as an insurance adjuster with no degree
7 years of school is like 250k. Her 80k salary is like 50k after tax. 5x her take home pay. Probably a 20 year repayment. Unbelievable.
most often, doctorate programs cover tuition
@@solarisv144 definitely not for DPT since it's not ph.d.
@@solarisv144That’s only for some PhD programs. All vocational grad schools MD, PharmD, DDS, DPT, etc. cost money.
PT here. Terrible debt to salary ratio. I like what I do, but it was not worth it.
That is shockingly low. Hope she moves up quickly.

PT is not worth it, our burnout rate is getting higher and our reimbursement lower. If you want to go healthcare go another route
@@genghiscon8096are you willing to elaborate on your experience?
Great for her, and congratulations on the doctorate as well!

Nope, not the maximum salary of a PT in Australia. I know many Physio including myself getting more than 105 K+ per annum
When she hit that 80k, there was literally a millisecond of that awkward moment of damn 7 years in school for that?!
A two year program from community college get s you in that ballpark for pay …. In Texas where it’s very cheap to live….

I think they should be making double the money at 7 years of school they should be good about 180 you're also helping people get back to work
