The people complaining about this are the ones who break these kind of laws, I wish the police here would do the same thing since no one seems to care about crosswalk laws
Instead of just handing out fines, make these people re-take their driving test. If they can't demonstrate a basic understanding of road rules, and how to operate a car safely, then they lose the license and the car is impounded until such time as they can prove that they can drive safely. If people know that there is an actual consequence, they'll start driving safely (if only to keep the car).
Almost 4 years ago I was at a crosswalk and almost got hit by a car. She didn’t slowed down to let me cross. Another car went through,too. Till a 3rd cat let me cross the street. I wasn’t even jaywalking across.
The last time he went into the crosswalk the car was on the other side of the road. he would have had to slam on his brakes and squealed the tires to stop on time. I think that last one was BS!
If they want to make safe put light in drivers sights when someone is going to cross. People are not looking at sidewalk when they driven at least i hope not

How does this crosswalk work for driver? If they see the flashing yellow lights, they have to stop behind the triangle limit line?
People in A CROSS WALK has the right of Way in GA, any part of the Crosswalk.
