    Now I really, really, REALLY miss my little 323F. Owned one of these from 2009 to 2014 - the only, and I'm serious, the only piece of mechanical maintenance it needed in that time (besides oil changes) was a set of rear brake pads. It had an oil leak and a few other things, but that car just kept giving, and giving, and giving. It developed a bizarre overheating problem though, most likely a head gasket. But this was a fun little car, I still think about it almost 7 years later. Thanks for the vid :)

      Hi, I currently own one of these (still running great with 370,000kms)! I also had a bizzare overheating problem - for me it turned out that there was air/ a bubble in the cooling system. Once this was sorted the car was great!

    • @JesterKren
      @JesterKren 2 месяца назад

      I just bought one a year ago with it sitting on 44k miles (now 45k). I also just fixed an over heating issue, mine was just the radiator fan having a dead point so it wouldnt spin. I had oil leak and had to replace the head gasket but apart from even having a not fully working coil and being very grumpy while not having its auto choke on the girl just keeps going. Couldnt wish for a better car.

      Same here.
      First car i ever remember being in, and it was a black one, and i called it the "Eye-car". I remember the day my father took me to kindergarten the first day with the car, i've never been on a car before, but i knew how to walk. And i often was walked to the kindergarten by my mother. My father was drinking coffee, and asked me if i wanted to be a passenger in a car. I furiously nodded, we walked to the garage roof, and he just told me wait infront of the car he went into, so he could drive it out of the tight parking spot. Unannounced, he starts spamming the lights. I reacted like i did, told my dad "Is eye car!", and i flexed in kindergarten over how my dad has the coolest car, because it has EYES

I remember how it over-heated in summer ,because mom's husband put some cardboard around the radiator in winter ,so the car can warm up more quickly😅 forgot to take it out in the summer. Half a year later the engine was quite damaged and i don't remember what happened to the car after that ,but it was gone.

    Thank you very much for this great video! 😀 Since I own one of these 323F BGs knowing how rare they are, it's actually sad to see it in this bad condition. It's a very reliable car, never had any major issue so far. Therefore I'm not surprised that it started up even after that time.

      This Mazda is in great condition. It need only new oils, tires, paintwork and fuel tank with fuel pump. It was imported from Germany in 2001 and looks like it had little crash and thats why there is bodyfiller on one fender.

      I still drive one, too. People have no idea. The cars have become rare, the value is increasing. Only because many think so they have become rare. Because this car is a real tank you can get it well. And it makes a lot of fun. I would not like to exchange it for a modern car.

    Go ahead and try this in 20-25 years from now, with a 2020 version of whatever Mazda you get. Modern cars are great, has many functions, huge safety, great milage... But they are too “electronic”, too much controlled by computers. And electronics and computers don’t do great when left out in the open, exposed to everything.
