EASY Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars - Gooey and Bursting with Flavor

    This makes a 8x8 pan of gooey pecan pie bars. These are so yummy and smell so good, you will love them, if you don't want the chocolate part, just omit the chocolate chips.
    Recipe ( Please watch video for assembly)
    Crust:
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    ⅓ cup packed light brown sugar
    ⅕ cup butter, melted and cooled
    Pecan filling:
    2 large eggs at room temperature
    2 tablespoon light cream
    ½ cup packed light brown sugar
    ¼ cup golden corn syrup
    1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
    ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    1 cup chopped pecans
    1/3 cup milk chocolate chips plus extra for topping
    Bake Crust at 350 for 15 minutes, then add pecan filling to the warm crust, reduce oven temp to 325 degrees and bake for 25 more minutes. Cool in the refrigerator for 1 hour before cutting..or eat warm right out of the oven like I did.
