This video demonstrates a quick & easy way to get your minivan's (this is a Toyota Sienna AWD 2015) sliding doors gliding and closing smoothly. Disengage the automatic power doors, then find the door's wheels (toward the top, middle, and bottom). Lubricate liberally using a screwdriver or other long object. Verify grease type by calling your dealer before applying!

Dude you are supposed to lube the bearings INSIDE THE WHEEL not the surface!!

Exactly my thought too. This is HOW NOT TO LUBE teh Sliding doors.
First use a degreaser and clean up the roller tracks so they don't attract dirt & debris. Next, use a silicone spray with an extension and focus on the wheel bearings. Give it a spray and then manually move the door back & forth a few times. The top and bottom rollers are ok to work with but the middle one, around the window frame is very hard to reach. You can access it from the inside with the sliding door in an almost closed
      position.

Thanks! The area that the wheels roll on must be low friction, too, this seems to be the point of the video.. reduce that friction! Nice video. 😊👍

Wrong. Sorry, but…you should not grease surface, where bearings will roll. That will collect dust, sand, and all other things.
    Only grease inside of bearings…

i just bought a used 2013 toyota noah, and the sliding doors sound rough so i think it's time to re-grease it, its a toyota and it has almost the same structures as your sienna, now i do have some questions, is it necessary to clean/wipe off the old grease? should i apply more or less grease? what happens if the grease gets wet quite often? can I buy the grease with more/bigger size? (in cans/bottles i guess?), is the grease the same as industrial grease? (the one that applied for semi truck couplings?)
