Tough to say. I would measure a pair your favourite jeans you own and try compare to the size guide for the jeans at the Tate and Yoko website. The size guides tend to be pretty accurate.
I bought this online on sale without any prior research on raw denim. I was horrified on how uncomfortable and stiff they were. It's also a very long inseam. Question, will it really stretch and conform to my body after a while? Also, cam I alter these jeans to make it shorter and tapered? The leg opening is too wide
Raw denim comes starchy at first. You need to wash them if you don't like the hard, starchy feel but DONT put them in the dryer. They will shrink. Yes you can taper them at a good alterations place. The sooner the better preferably before you start really wearing them. They will soften over time and get way more comfy and mould to your body. They will stretch out with wear, but re shrink slightly every time you wash them even when you hang dry so don't wash very often and they will relax a bit in the first few months of wear. If you want to get into raw denim and you don't want to take chances, go into a store next time to buy them and that takes the guessing out of it. Hope this helps.
@@vancanadastyle3365 thanks I appreciate it! I went by Naked and Famous size guide and they listed the 32 lean dean as 32.5" waist but when I measure its only 30. I'm assuming the 32.5 is when it gets broken in? I'll start breaking them in tomorrow hopefully it'll stretch out to the advertised 32.5 because I'm a 32 waist
@@briandecasa5444 Whoa. That's a big difference from the fit guide to the actual size. To me that qualifies as a defect. Even tho you got them on sale I would return if you aren't happy with them.
Nice bro I just got the non stretch version glad to see you can fade them, i was afraid they would stay black due to black weft. Cheers.
Nice! Wasn’t expecting them to fade very much.
Yes. I was surprised how easily they faded.
I just picked up a pair of Nudie Black Selvedge jeans I'll be picking up a pair of black Naked & Famous jeans.
@@jonathantae7753 yeah it's great to me Nudie and Naked & Famous are the only brands I will buy when it comes to denim. And may be ralph lauren.
Those fit your seat perfect. I get worried about the diaper look so I'm less worried to buy these now.
They fit great. The 2 percent stretch is perfect for a skinny jean. They keep their shape.
@@vancanadastyle3365 Yeah, I found the pair I'll be getting. Pretty stoked about it, finally getting into some nice jeans haha!
Hi nice video! which size do you recommend for those jeans? I'm more a sport guy build 6.0 and 160 pound.

Incredible fades

Are these the 5% elastase kind? I have the stretch selvegde that’s at 2%, so trying to compare the stretch and see how it affects them
These are 2 percent stretch.
Thanks for the video
Thanks.
