Alisa's whole kit is made for raging kids with bad connections who prefer to plug whenever their cheese does not work.

Alisa's not that simple, she's got her complicated stuff but people use her EASY DAMAGE stuff.
Her combo game is weak. So most Alisa players tend to memorize her 10 hit combo for the "combo potential"
Blocking low will stop it from being complete.
Her chainsaw activation is also easy to stop by attacking low because she can't use kicks and most of her abusable chainsaw moves have slow animation start up, especially her lows.
Be careful though, her rage drive can still be activated during chainsaw mode, most people think she can't if she has her chainsaw mode on.
During chainsaw mode her forward flight cannot be feinted to bait you. She just stops and is vulnerable while she flies. A good ol' anti air move can push her out of it

She's my main but I hate most people who play her, so cheap with the blades and shit. I play as decent with her a possible, so I love the character depending on who plays her. For example, I love Cuddlecore and Chanel's Alisa, but I hate eyemusician's Alisa. Eyemusician is extremely good fundamentally, but the way he uses Alisa is so cheap.
I don't even play against this player but his gameplay gives me a terrible headache 💀 big respect to you Main Man seriously.

You know the problem with players like this is that I just can't help feeling when they make a good block etc that they are using cheats..it's annoying because I don't want to be just shouting 'cheater!' every time someone who isn't great (or spams knowledge checks a lot) does something good, it's just so hard to not think that, with how much of it goes on, messes with your head a bit.
If you want real answers asked me , he is 44 years old and he plays in his shop( selling digital stuff ) if doesnt have costumers and he is really cool guy 👍🏻

I’m surprised, as a very casual, careless Tekken player who plays once every year, no one has ever said she’s a brain dead character. So i’ll go ahead and say it; Alisa’s a very braindead character 🤷🏻 and this video right here just shows how hellish and boring it is to play against her.
Dude if you think Alisa's brain dead she's nothing compared to Paul, Kunimitsu, Noctis, and a bunch more other top tier characters with dumbass damage and no brainer one button mash combos.

TMM super sick performance dude . I faced an Alisa just like 3 hours ago playing at Fighter rank which is relatively low compared to Tekken god . anyway I am sure he wasn't as good at knowledge checking as this guy but still was super annoying and to begin he got like three win streak against me then I just started playing better and wining 50 precent of the matches something like this and I was so able to tell how much of a better basic player I was compared to him right away cause he was just playing circus . and of course as soon as I started winning most of the matches he quit .
I really think they should remove all of these cheese moves and characters in tekken 8 and stick to what really fighting game should be there is no problem having broken characters but not cheese and cheap moves and characters that ruins all the fun
So basicly remove 80 % of the roster and 50 % of the remaining characters movelists. Not that great of an idea, dont you think. We would lose so many unique and interesting characters that it simply wouldnt be Tekken anymore. As much as I find it annoying to be killed by cheesy bullshit. In the end that basicly is Tekken. It is a deeply dishonest game.
If you are not playing one of maybe five honest characters in the game, your character would be removed. I dont know man, feels a little hypocritical.

He is dishonest and cheesy by design and I dont think anything can change that. So you would basicly need to remove him and I dont think that you think this is a good idea.
I get where you are coming from man and while I agree that Tekken 7 has too much stuff in characters movelists, I personally dont think that removing the cheese and gimmicks would make it a better game.
For me personally its this huge freedom that makes Tekken so unique.

Nothing specific in this Alisa, they guy been really pissing with a lot of knowledge checks. He doesn't have very bad fundamentals but prefer to outplay oppos seems with a check and if they don't react do it over and over.
I hate people that play like that. They’re a disgrace to the game.
I kinda agree but it's the amount of cheese there is in the game that creates this kind of player, and a huge part of getting good at Tekken is learning to beat this kind of playstyle.

@@MasterVili but to counter that argument she has a snake edge and if some plays really gimmicky with lag it makes it way harder for the opponent to punish her ducking strings side walking etc. She isn't the best character to play with lag but she does pretty well

Edit: laws does high crush but alisas low crushes that's when you can start adding opinion into it.

I unfortunately fell out of love with Tekken 7. I still love the franchise and the lore, but I just cant stand the cheese anymore. I try to play patient, it's almost like anyone can be cheese. I experience nothing but anger and frustration, even in winning I just get a relief. The game is not fun anymore for me. I'm just gonna have to go into tekken 8 with a whole new perspective. I try to learn Steve and get better just to get smoked by people who just do the same move and mix it up over and over. Party spammers with no defense. The game is a cesspool of shit now.

I can't play players like that for long I'm always trying to learn how to counter their bs but it drives me insane and I rage
So by definition a gimmick is something thats difficult to deal with and requires knowledge to counter properly. If that's the case then Alisa's chainsaw stance doesn't fall into this category because if you took the time to lab the stance you will realize that you cannot effectively counter it no matter how much you understand it. The stance has no holes, there's a move that covers every situation and extremely oppressive frames, your best defensive option is backdashing and even then she still have options to chase you in the stance, if you're at the wall you're screwed. So yeah even pro players get blown up by this shit sometimes and I can't blame Alisa players for using something this strong. It's not a gimmick, it's just overpowered.
most of the moves are safe and u cant parry them either so u have to sidestep the flowchart, but u can just randomly press high from the mid and u cant really tell its just guess

as an Alisa main, chainsaw sure is strong but I would argue that it's not overpowered at all. the stance might not have any hole to exploit but some top chainsaw move can be launch punish if u guessed right (ex: ducking f+1 or side walk left for d+1 and f1+2), the recovery after whiff of most moves are bad and the stance is also pretty weak in neutral.
