- I bought some rx8 performance motor mounts for my mazda rx8 because my old mounts collapsed, causing some transmission problems. I decided to review these because people tend to think all performance mounts cause bad vibrations, which these don't. I like these mounts a lot, and they do feel different, but if your oem mounts are still good, I wouldn't say its a great idea to install these unless you plan to race or drift your rx8. 82k on the clock $7000 ? yer makin me feel like i got a bargin here in the uk as i only paid £950 for my 2006 rx8 evolve 1 0f 300 made with 60k on the clock . thats only about $1250. and it has another $1500 worth of mods done to it by previous owner.
