  • Dhammananda Bhikkhuni reflects on the profound advice she's received: the simple act of smiling. A smile holds the key to kindness, not only to oneself but also to others. The narrative illustrates this point through various examples, including an anecdote involving a political figure who, in the face of a mistake, offered a forgiving smile.
The message emphasizes the universal language of smiles as a symbol of acceptance, forgiveness, and understanding. By delving into the nuances of human interactions, the speaker highlights the impact of a sincere smile in conveying messages beyond words. The narrative draws on personal experiences, including collaboration with Somdet Maha Ghosananda of Cambodia, showcasing the practical application of this powerful message.
The overarching theme centers on the universality of human fallibility and the need for compassion, both towards oneself and others. The speaker encourages listeners to embrace forgiveness, as symbolized by a simple smile, fostering connection and understanding in our shared human experience. The message resonates as a call to self-compassion, empathy, and the recognition of our shared imperfections.

Sadness or sufferings or even happiness are mostly from outside built like other people said they don't like you this may suffer your feelings. Based on Buddhism concepts, simply practice to see sustainable happiness is letting go of the attachments whatever are from outside your mind. Then start building love and care of your inside only. Lord Buddha he said nothing is certain or permanent even our body someday this will be gone to nature including everything around us animals, plants, buildings or so on even the sharpest words from other people that made you feel sad if you owned it you will feel suffered just let it go don’t grab it to attach yourself. This is the key of Buddhism concepts!
