People saying he's lost his style, no he's growing up like we all are. Yeah years ago it was fun writing and singing about getting pissed and getting up to shit with mates, but he's older like all of us who listened to his early stuff. I think this is spot on and hope to hear more like it

***** Third party ticket sellers have set up a system to have bots buy the tickets as soon as they hit the main seller, then once they are bought turn around and sell them for as much as 3 times more. NPR had a whole bit about it... So try looking for places that are third party ticket vendors... Those are usually the bastards with the tickets lol

I don't get why people think this isn't jamie's style he's an experimental musician that pretty much covers all genres and for all you saying jamie's songs all rely on fast tempo to be good you should listen to a some of his b-sides which by the way are his best stuff like on 'On Holiday' 'Heres Ya Getaway' and believe in things that can't be done there all BRILLIANT! oh and of course 'The Curious sound'

I dont understand how anyone could dislike this, Let alone Jamie T 'fans'. This tune is genius, the last stuff he brought out was relevant in 2009 this is relevant in 2014. Like any other good musician he's changing up his sound and evolving. Buzzing to hear the new album and got tickets for his tour, can't fucking wait!

There isn't really too much to the lyrics in the song, he's purposefully repeating sounds and words to emphasize the day-dreamy/melancholic/what if element. It's more about the whole piece reflecting a mood, pondering on an unknown female, possible escapes, what he has here, what he'd have there and generally just what it would be like if he followed the dreams/desires he keeps having...

Mat Oates I've been listening to it over and over again and this is the best I can make of the distorted singing at the end. He's slurring the lyrics so some of the words blend into eachother.

I think in his other songs he is showed as angry or aggressive and very loud which is one of his styles but in this song he isn't angry and is being more controlled rather than being loud and aggressive so in my opinion he has gotten rid of his anger in this song and showed he has more than just aggression he also has a controlled style and I also think since in his older music he is mostly shouting he is showing he can sing as well not just about and I think this song is great and very well written

Jamie t back from the Dead. Thought he would never return.
It sounds like progression to me, people are saying "why doesn't it sound like his first album?" forgetting that he has done stuff between then and now and that it has been heading this way. If he had stuck with the cheeky cockney approach of his first album, which is one of my all time favorite albums, his music would have just stagnated - you can't write songs the same way and about the same things forever. The production on this track is tight and sounds good, it's my favorite release of 2014 so far - it sounds like a lot of time has gone into it, which it probably has considering when his last release was
