As much as I'm interested in the new Wizard of Oz world, I'm personally more hyped for the Jungle Rush at Dreamworld, given the fact that I rode the Mummy at Universal Studios, and Jungle Rush seems to be a very similar attraction
It’ll be interesting to see how the two areas compare with rider throughput. Jungle Rush, whilst being a single coaster, will run multiple trains. Whereas WoO has three coasters but each will only have a single train. Which area will be slammed harder on a busy day?
Nice Update, I back on the Gold Coast after 14 years on cruise ships so great to see these updates takes me back to when I worked at WBMW back in 2002 to 2010 and ran OZcoaster, can't wait to see more of your updates. :) Ian

Hi Jaggs journey. I was wondering which theme park you recommend going to? Also is it worth getting the season pass for both theme parks? I be at the Gold Coast for the 1st of august to the 4th of August for the dream world fun run
I am guessing that the Studio Showcase is being updated to include a whole lot of Wizard of Oz stuff for the 70th Anniversary and may open the same time the area does to tie it all together even though they are in separate areas of the park.
Every time I ride Rivals I wish it was a Mack Flash instead, I am one of those not huge on Rivals "overall" as I find everything in the middle to be dead track. I like the start and the first 3 elements and the bunny hops. Have you ridden flash? A lot more actual solid coaster IMO, *and* inversions, and I really feel it's the time for MW to get a proper multi inversion coaster which I truly wish is what they did for Arkham's replacement. A current gen Vekoma invert would have been amazing. That already have Scooby and road runner - so, why couldn't they have done the boomerangs, great idea, right, but instead of a Vekoma suspended family clone to go with them, do the thrill Vekoma invert instead. Does anyone else think that effectively 3 new family coasters is kind of ridiculous or is it just me? So if they did that, we'd have 3 family coasters or 4 if you look at the boomerangs as 2, and another thrill coaster. Maybe it's just me, but do they even have any room left if they ever want to add another thrill coaster or did they literally just use it all for the family coasters?
@@JaggsJourneys I meant Flash in China or Turkey, a Mack Hyper Coaster. I rode Australia Flash when it was Surfrider at W&W, it's fun, but it's the small model and the one that goes to 100ft has a lot more vertical time therefore a lot more thrilling imo. Flash hyper coaster is so good, I'd have had that over Rivals any day, and I am not sure when they had such a good model why they did such a custom layout for us with that weird middle section. But now with Hyperia, wow, a longer version of that or even just as it is for their next coaster would be amazing if they have the room. An inverting airtime machine. No I haven't ridden that yet but spoken to those who have and most of the ride you are out of your seat apparently! Next year for that one. A quick "best of US" then the new Universal Park, fingers crossed it's open, then off to EU and UK. Can't wait! What would make it even more amazing is if Qiddiya is open already for the flight home. But either way I am coming home via M/E to do stuff like Mission Ferrari which I missed out on and Manta in Dubai and so on.

It depends what your preference or likes are - MW probably has more thrill rides
