The Glycerin Max won‘t fit runners with narrow feet. My feet were swimming in this shoe (it was the right size). Got the Glideride Max, which fits me perfectly. Love this shoe.
It's interesting how different shoe models work for different foot shapes! Glad to hear the Glideride Max fits you perfectly. The right fit makes all the difference for a great run!
How do they compare to the Nike Invincible 3? That is also a very soft and plush shoe? Really curious as they are on big discounts atm with the Invincible 4 coming up.
I just returned my Glycerin Max. I did not get along with it. Upper was hot, sloppy, and overly plush. Rear foam borderline unstable at slower paces. I much prefer Magmax, but the drop on it is kind of irritating me a bit. Listed as 8, but measured at 10mm.
I think in ASICS lineup it is the better daily trainer at the moment. I would pick Glideride Max over Nimbus and Novablast. I really liked my Novablast OG but current version 4 is soft and mush shoe void of any excitement.
Thanks for the honest review, Chris. I have an idea. Let's all stop spending huge amounts of money on EVA shoes just because they have beefy midsoles and call themselves whatever, whatever. We all here probably have full closets of shoes. These new ones are maybe slightly better, but insanely more expensive. So, let's save money for the right stuff when it finally hits the market. Like Adidas EVO SL. And I'm sure EVERYONE will follow with superfoams in everyday shoes. We just needed someone to step in first. Thank you Adidas.
Yes, Adidas is doing it again; pressuring the industry to up their game. They also started this arms race of innovative foams with Boost, over 10 years ago. That was a revelation back then.
@@FordyRuns I'm sure they will not be able to satisfy demand, especially if they offer few attractive colours. If the colours are right, I'm buying 2 pairs immediately. And I'm waiting for your review of Pro 4 to decide if I will upgrade from 3. Besides Saucony Elite and Hoka Rocket X2, this was my favourite top model. Everything else falls far behind, at least for me, including Nike.
I’ve had the Glideride max for two weeks now and I love it.
@@GaryLDN Me too! Great trainer.
It's a great looking shoe, reminds me of the Hoka Mach 4

I have the Hurricane 24 and I just bought the Glycerin Max. Following this video I will sell the Hurricane and keep the Glycerin 😊
Happy running
Sounds like a solid plan! The Glycerin Max is a fantastic choice. Hope it brings you plenty of joy on your runs!
@@FordyRuns it's better over others but its very expensive here. Asics products are available on reasonable price at south Asia

Great feedback thanks
As a numerous Glideride user I need to try the Max. But where are they on sale? Can’t find them anywhere?
It seems like the max-stack market is really spoilt for choice at the moment.
100%
Hey Fordy! Trying to decide between Glycerin Max and Puma Magmax! Which do you prefer?
Hi I think I go through it on here: ruclips.net/video/Qm1obpBZVmM/видео.htmlsi=AZGPMcFAewFa5ZRS
@@FordyRuns thanks! I must have missed that video! Hopefully Puma will restock them soon in the US!

I’m looking forward to the evo sl as I can’t believe how cheap it will be given the foam etc

Good morning. Excellent comparison. Like to Fordy. Have a great day.
Good morning! I'm glad you enjoyed the comparison. Hope you have an amazing day too!
Wish I was a 9.5 because I'd buy that Glideride off ya 😂
ahhaahahhahah
how is this shoe cheaper than nimbus?
Yes
