I'm Greek and because of my profession, I was honoured to experience the Iranian hospitality, on an Iranian merchant vessel. It was just beyond words. About the people? I love hearing this Sotirios! It's sad to hear that you had a different vision earlier because of what they show on TV, but I'm so glad you had an opportunity to experience the truth for yourself!
I just returned from 2 weeks in Iran. The people were incredibly friendly and hospitable. Our Senators and Congressmen should go there to see the real people, not the mean way they are portrayed on the media. So much to see and do there and the food is amazing. I never got tired of seeing those gorgeous tiled mosques. Pray for Iran. Saudi Arabia, Israel and the US are ganging up on them.
A big like from Italy !You really know how to enjoy life in Tehran . I liked the joy and the happiness that you showed in this video, the love and the respect for the family . This video is "a slap" against all those people who don't know the real Iran and base their opinions on what medias show...I have been to Iran three times and I would visit it 300 times more. This video shows how friendly are Iranians. During my trips I visited different families: some where religious ,some less religious ,some not religious at all. Everywhere I have been warmly welcomed ,I ate super delicious food,I could talk about anything without any problem. I have to admit that I really miss Persian food. Unfortunately here in Italy we haven't many Persian restaurants. Another interesting thing that I saw in the video is that nobody cared when your scarf fallen down from your head....I visited Pol-e-Tabiat in the night and it's really magic. How were your penne? :D Italian food and culture are so famous in Iran,I have been always surprised how much you Iranians know Italy. I really hope to visit Iran again! khoda hafez :)
Ciao Antonio!!! Grazie mille per i complimenti!! La pasta era deliziosa! haha, I think that's about as much Italian as I can write without straining too hard ;) That's so amazing that you've been to Iran 3 times! I'm so happy you had such positive experiences traveling there! I think there are actually lots of similarities between Italy, especially southern Italy, and Iran (but of course many differences as well), and yes Italian food and fashion is very popular! :) When I traveled around Europe of all the cities I visited (Berlin, Vienna, Venice, Rome, and Paris), Rome was the one that reminded me most of Tehran. I hope I can visit Italy again someday soon! Thank you so much for watching my video and taking the time to comment. I'm so glad you could feel the joy I felt and that it translated through the screen! Abbracci dall'america!
Grazie per questo commento Vorrei poterlo fare Vado in Italia E ho scritto qui la bellezza e l'arte italiane. Il tuo amico dall'Iran Lunga vita all'Iran e all'Italia
This is REAL Iran..wow the media shows the complete opposite picture of it. Love the the Culture, humanity, hospitality, architecture, natural scenery ,people..everything is Absolutely radiant ,warm and so beautiful!
ur4me100 _"Not Without My Daughter"_ was a horrible movie/book aimed at dehumanizing Iranian people and their culture. this, and *dozens of Hollywodian* productions has made Americans very hostile towards anything remotely related to Iran, the people and their government lumped together into a made-up entity.
Ciao Andrea! Oh that's so fantastic that you've been to Iran! And I'm so happy you loved it! I love Italy and actually of all the European cities I visited, Rome was the one that reminded me the most of Tehran. Hope to visit again someday! Abbracci dall'america! :)
I watched this with my Persian Boyfriend and he almost teared up because you captured such raw moments with the family greeting you, the gathering with all the cousins and uncles and aunts, TV in the back, fruits on the table. The Soltane Ghalbha in the end is so soothing and your grandfathers (?) poem recitation almost broke my heart. He seems so precious. I feel like Persians hold family closer than anything else and you just have your very own way of spending hours after hours, eating tons of food, just chilling together, appreciating eachother. Very well done! Most emotional and fun vlog I've ever seen. If only this was shown on mainstream media to picture Iran and Iranians. Afarin!
Oh wow, Mara!! How do I even reply to this incredible comment!? You have no idea how touched I am by your words. It's such an amazing feeling knowing that this little video I put together had the ability to make people feel things and touch people in some way. I am so grateful for everyone who takes the time to watch and then to leave such a kind comment like yours....such a gift! Thank you sooo much and I hope that if you haven't yet..that you get to visit Iran yourself someday!! Big hugs and all the best to you and your bf!!!
In Switzerland, we also give 3 kisses on the right and left cheek to relatives and close friends :) And we also take off the shoes in houses and apartments
Hi This is Irfan, I am from Sydney Australia, I have visited Tehran around three times. I love Iranian hospitality. No doubt they are one of the most beautiful people in the world. I really miss chullo kabab :)
Bah Salam, man zan Americaee hastam. It makes me so melancholy when I see Tehran I live there 10 years with my Persian husband and my children I've been back many times it brings tears to my eyes because I love that country so much
well our state T.V shows every second is a mass shooting in theUS and COPS beat the shit of black Americans but we know that is not the case. Likewise Foxnews and others try to show ppl of Iran as a backwarded and wife beating nation which of course is not true. Things are not perfct down here like every where in the world, could it be better? Yes
شما دوست عزیزی که این فیلم زیبا را گزاشتید یک ایرانی بسیار با فرهنگ و یک ایرانی وطن پرست واقعی هستید که با چنین فیلمهایی به ایران خدمت کردید . سپاسگزارم
Unlike western media about Iran, women lives like westerner and seems like people are free and independent than media shows us in news , very good Video .
You are such a beautiful warm hearted woman that surounds herself with nice friends. Your country has thousands of years of culture .It is a shame that many Americans can't find it on the map. Showing the human side of this beautiful country ,you are doing a better job as any of your Ambassadors. After seeing your Tour ,most of the people would like to visit your country. Well done ! Thank you
I'm Moroccan not Iranian but always get mistaken for one. Thank you for an insight to Tehran.. more people should see this, nothing like how the media portrays Iran.. you and your family are all beautiful ❤️
These are the true Persians, sophisticated and high class. I’m not even Persian. This is a modern metropolis. Iran is beautiful. My dream is to go to Tehran and Esfahan.
I'm Iranian and Iran have 80 million people, most of people are committed to our religion and tradition ,people that are amazed and influenced by western culture are minority, mostly in big cities, mostly by effect of social media ,but we new generation also aren't going to lose our feet on our authority and our rights for useless world joys and emptiness...
I always had a plan to visit Iran but your video increased my wish to visit Iran two hundred percent..in sh Allah I will be there ...love from Bangladesh...
My daughter is half Iranian. Her father was here in the US before the revolution in the Iranian military. My daughter is now 42 and has 4 sons. It's sad she never met her father and he has never met his daughter and grandsons. Iran is a beautiful country and the people are always hospitable, just lovely people.
Aww I'm sorry to hear that but I hope she at least is maybe in touch with her Iranian roots? If not, maybe showing her this video will get her interested! Thanks for the compliments!!
Love and respect from Saudi Arabia. I hope someday we resolve our disputes! Thanks for sharing such beautiful people and scenes! I wish the old lady who looks sick at the end of the video to recover and be healthy! Like & subscribe 🌹
My dear brother,! There's NO disputes between our people. We're all middle Eastern and with close cultures. Close faith. Similar food. Same emotions. And.... We can have nothing for each other than a very simple love n care. Please don't listen to mainstream midia and corrupted politicians. I promise tomorrow s. Will will be brighter and sunnier. 😊
I was born In the UK and still live here. My mum is British and my dad is iranian and currently lives in Tehran. I would love more than anything to be able to visit one day. It looks like such a beautiful and interesting country and this video has just made me even more keen to go.
Oh you've got to go!! Do you have lots of family there still? If you have cousins your age you will have a great time! And if you have aunts or a grandmother there they will feed you well :)
Niloo Yes, I have aunts, uncles and cousins galore. It's a shame that the tensions are running high between countries at the moment as I would love to go.
My first twelve years were spent in Iran, in my old age I still love the culture, love and the humanity of the Iranian people. I have not seen anything quite like it , amazing and beautiful people.
big respect for Iran, the real perl of the middle east. Europe needs to do most for this beautiful country in terms of getting closer. We share the same roots and you can clearly see from the traits of those girls. They could be absolutely Italians or Spanish :) CIao dall'Italia
Aww! Grazie borghese! I agree there are so many similarities between the people and culture and I wish that people could more easily travel there. Lo amo l'italia e spero di tornarci presto!!
Love this stuff! Been to Iran for 20 days in September and October, I'm absolutely in love with your country! 😍 I came mostly because of the nature, but in the end culture and people left the biggest impression. I've travelled all over the world and never encountered such hospitality like in Iran, you are great! And food is amazing too! Tonight I have a presentation in my hometown city Zadar in Croatia of my Iranian journey, can't wait to share my experience and destroy wrong stereotypes :) Already shown the presentation to my friends and they are surprised by Iran. Because of stupid western propaganda they all have wrong image of Iran in their heads. One day I'll come back, so much more to explore, cheers from Croatia! :)
Oh wow that is so cool Aleksandar!! I love hearing that you had such a positive experience in Iran and that you experienced the same warmth and hospitality I always do when I visit. I'm so happy to hear you're going to be presenting on your travels! Education and sharing is how we change perceptions and break down barriers and spread the love
@@hosseinmoeini1428 No dude, it's a theory, btw they weren't from Iran, they claim they were from Sarmatian (part of Scythians that were in Ukraine). After all Slavs are close to Iranic tribes. And Croats are close just like other Slavs, specially about the language.
I absolutely loved your video. God willing, I will soon travel to Iran too with my Persian husband. As a Mexican, it is a very rewarding feeling to visit my husband's homeland.
Oh wow that will be so much fun to experience Iran for the first time! I hope you enjoy it and have an amazing time!! THanks so much for the compliments on my video! Muchas gracias!!
I actually clicked on it his accidentally but had to leave u a comment me say great job good video u and ur family are beautiful! Tehran look beautiful! Ur video should go viral so people can see that Iran isn’t the evil place everyone tries to say it is! Anyway xoxoxo thank u
OMG! This comment totally made my day! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and for taking the time to leave me a comment and let me know I had an impact in some small way. Means a lot!
All people feel love and pain. Now and always I knew you were like us, great people. Thanks for the video, I do not know English. My name is Peter and I live in a small, only 5 million country in Slovakia in Central Europe. We have the most water in Europe. I also send a link about my country.
Thank you so Niloofar for sharing with us such personal and deeper part of your Iranian roots. I'am a Canadian living in Montreal: while watching your video I realize how little I knew about life in Tehran. The song in the end just made me cry : perfect voice, profound text, touching images. Excellent job from you.
Oh wow, thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video and to let me know that I was able to accomplish one of my goals, which was to expose more people to what Tehran/Iran is really like. And yayyyy!! You watched until the end! I'm so glad because the ending is my favorite part, too! So glad I was able to make you feel something with my little film! :) Appreciate the compliments so much!
Hi Niloofar! Hope you're great. I would like to know the name of the singer in the end of your video please: I understand absolutely nothing about what she's saying but the music is magical. Finally I hope to see you in Montreal one day: I'm sure you would like Montreal. Thank you for spreading proudly your Iranian culture.
The subtitles/lyrics to the song are playing across the screen at the bottom of the video :) It's called Soltaneh Ghalbha (King of Hearts) by Ahdieh and there's a link to the song in the Description box below the video :)
I’ve been there once years ago and i fell in love with Tehran people and their kindness much love to tehran people love you guys .. greetings from iraq
Thanks for replying. I've always wanted to visit Iran, Its always puzzled me. I Have a couple of Brazilian friends who have visited and loved it very much. The closest I've been to was Turkey, Syria, Lebanon and the UAE. I've flown over the Zagros Mountains once, it was covered in snow. Hope you make your way to Brazil too. It is a fascinating country, built by immigrants much like the US. Probable the second country that has received the most immigrants in the past 300-400 years. Pretty interesting place, although we are going through a rough phase now due to recession. I've travelled 60 countries so far and I am yet to find a city in a setting as dramatic as Rio. Let me know if you ever come to this part of the world. I can give you a lot of tips! The best of luck on your channel! Cheers! Thanks for inspiring me to visit Iran even more!
Thank you Niloo for this video! It's not only about Tehran, it's more about how deep is the love that you have for your family members and how you can make someone like me (living in Montreal, Canada and born in Gabon) feel it and make me miss deeply my own family. If you can transmit such deep human feelings through videos, I'm sure you have a great soul. Thank for your work.
Thanks so much, Pat! Happy to see some non-Persians watching the video as part of my hope was to show a different view of Tehran to other parts of the world! :)
Greetings from UK, I just stumbled across this video and very impressed by Iran, I'll be honest I was expecting all the women to be covered in burkas and a lot of repression & bad things to report. I'm glad to see this is not the case and it looks like a great country, I have learnt something for the day.
Wow that is so awesome to hear, Jim! I'm so glad my little video could help correct some misconceptions about the country and hopefully was enjoyable, too! Thanks for taking the time to watch and leave me a comment! :)
Wow, after watching this blog I have so may questions about Tehran and the day to day life there. In any case, it is 100% the opposite of what I thought .... Awesome vlog. Salaams from South Africa, xoxoxo Phiroza
Oh wow that's awesome phiroza! I'm so happy my video was able to shed some light on the day to day life of many people living in Tehran. So glad you enjoyed it and greetings from the U.S.A.!!
I am a South African with Persian roots and my dad always told me that Persians are refined and very romantic and much more.Yes I see why my dad said this and more now.

It looks so great. God bless Iran ! I wish I get the opportunity to visit this beautiful countries within the next 2 years ! All the best from France. PS : RIP to all the victims of the 12th november earthquake and condolences to the families and friends.
Aww, thank you so much, Claire!! Oh that would be so amazing if you could visit! It's such a unique city! Thank you so much for watching and for the condolences. I'm so grateful my family was not affected but so so sad for all the families who were :( Hugs from America!
My compliments for your great video and taste for the background musics. And at the end I almost got in tears.... the feeling of saying goodbye to your family and the country where you once belonged!
Wow, thank you! I'm so glad you watched all the way until the end - that's my favorite part!! I appreciate the kind words and that means a lot that I could move you with my little video :)
I cannot wait for the opportunity to visit Iran some day--not just Tehran, but also Isfahan, Shiraz, Tabriz, as well as the natural beauty spots, and historical spots! I loved this video, and you are a vision of beauty that would make Aphrodite herself envious.
Aww thank you so much, Boss! I hope to visit all the cities you mentioned someday, too! I spend most of my time in Tehran since that's where my family is - but iran certainly has many more beautiful cities to see.
You should convince them to go roadtripping, or even ride the metros! That would make for an awesome vlog! But, you must yell the entire time like from 13:06.
Yes. It's better than expectation of Iran. Beautiful place and people look happy. I think more people should visit Iran. So many french cars(Peugeot!) there! Anyway very interesting! Thanks from South Korea.
Hi Nam! Yes! The Peugeot is such a popular car there but we don't have it in America so I only ever see it in Iran! I feel like most people in Iran drive Peugeots or Kias (Korean!) :) I, too, wish more people would travel there and i wish it were easier to do so. Thanks so much for watching my video!
watching this on the day when the reports of a massive earthquake in the western region of Iran has all of us saddened. This video really made me homesick and emotional. Thank you for this Niloofar khanoom.
Ugh, those images were SO heartbreaking. I'm so grateful my family in Tehran wasn't affected and yet so so sad for all the beautiful people and families who were. Thanks so much for watching and so glad I could make you feel something with my little film.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video, Niloo. I enjoyed seeing the many experiences and slices of life, not only the sights, but all the interesting, terrific people of Iran. I wish for nothing but peace to all, please!
Loved how you showed iran in a different light. I love how kind and friendly the people were.what westren media says and the reality are a completely different thing. Thank u for shedding the light on the media's bias and hypocricy. Iran is for sure on my list. love from a somali
Aww! Thank you so much for this lovely comment! I'm so glad I was able to capture and share a different viewpoint with my vlog! Hope you visit someday soon! :)
Ciao ciao! Thank you so much for the kind words about my video! Means so much to me! The old man is my great uncle and he just LOVES to recite poetry. He knows sooo many poems by heart. I'm so glad I got one on video. Thanks for watching!! :)
Having watched your videos of Iran as well as Rick Steve's travels in Iran, I'm amazed! The Iranian people seem so warm and friendly and I'd love to visit there someday. While in the Navy, the closest I came was Pakistan, which I guess is right next door. Thanks for sharing your beautiful family and your culture, it's my hope that someday people can accept people and learn from their cultures, and that friendship would prevail instead! Keep up the good work with your videos, look forward to your next trip to Iran, and sharing your experiences!
Awww wow thank you so much, Ark!! Love this comment! I really do hope that you can visit someday. It's really such a unique place and none of the cities I've visited in Europe or the USA feel anything like Tehran to me. I so agree with you....hopefully someday we can all recognize that we are more alike than we are different and we can all learn from each other instead of fear each other. People like you give me hope! :) Thanks again!
My trips to Iran are so wonderful but leaving is so sad!!! Even though it's sad, the ending of the video is my favorite part - so glad you watched until the end!!
Congested highways look like 75 in Florida on the way to Orlando and Tampa. The food looks amazing! Beautiful country and wonderful people! Much love to the girls having fun!!
Awww! Thank you so much, Meri! People think I'm crazy, but I actually love how busy and bustling Tehran is. Maybe I should make a trip to Florida - I've actually never been before! :D Thanks so much for watching :)
This is beautiful. The requirement to cover a woman's head is not too strict then? I am glad you made this video. The media only shows the worst of all countries. Your family is lovely too. And your music is awesome :)
Aww! Thank you, Isabella! So technically women are supposed to have their hair fully covered and if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time you could get in trouble (sort of like speeding....speeding is against the law but people do it all the time and then if there's a cop around you might get a ticket), but generally many women are pretty loose and lax about how well they cover their hair. (now in WORK situations/professional situations their hair would need to be fully covered but just out on the street not as much). So glad you enjoyed the video and the music! If you're interested in the titles and links to the songs the info is in the Description box below the video :)
Only the younger generation show the need to be free. The older ladies are still bound by religious tenets! Many of them walking around in public appears to have their heads properly covered! But the country has developed very well !
Isabella Mizrahi u re right media only shows bad sides i visited pakistan for example an it was a great experience 😀 i ll visit iran also n why not whole if i can afford 😁we should not keep any negative judgements about any country or any culture everywhere there is good n bad
thank you for his video! after watching it and looking at your family and friends I have a much nicer image of Iran in my head than what was shaped by the stories I've heard before and the media. you have a beautiful, warm, fun family. and the food looks amazing!
Iran is on my top of the list where I want to travel إن شاء الله . It was always my dream to see the other side of the story as I don't believe in media. I am from Pakistan but never got a chance to visit Iran from there but now I moved to United States and will visit soon إن شاء الله . Thanks for sharing your experience
I've seen lots of Iran vlogs but yours is somehow the best for me - there's the atmosphere and genuine emotion captured that makes it look so welcoming and cozy, like a long lost family to everyone who is watching. I also love the songs throughout the video, thanks to you I discovered Yasser Mahmoudi etc.
Bea - you have NO idea how much this comment means to me! That means EVERYTHING to me that someone I've never met was able to feel like my family was their own and that I was able to convey so much emotion through my video. And yay - so glad I could introduce you to some new music!! Thank you so much for watching and the kind words!!
Beautiful culture, beautiful people, beautiful land, and the food looks amazing. I myself would not ride the rides at the amusement park LOL, I don't ride them at worlds of fun ( a place in Kansas city Missouri) either LOL. Love this video.
I have been in Iran..Teheran..Mashad ..and others places long time ago (at the end of Reza Pahawi period), I still keep in my memory the wonderfull moments that I spent with a lot of iranian people...one of the place in the world where you can really meet such special people!
Yes, I'm planning to visit again Iran..that in spite of the difficulties it's again a top destination for the europeans travellers! ( your video is great!)
Yay!! So glad to hear you're planning to visit again soon and that it's become a top destination again. Thanks for the compliments on my video!! :) Happy Traveling!
This was so lovely to watch, thankyou for sharing it! I throughly enjoyed watching it and shared it with my family! I’ve never been to Iran and would love to visit one day! My father’s Iranian-Azeri and my mom’s Afghan. I always go to turkey or dubai to met up with relatives from Iran but it isn’t the same thing. I’m just shocked at how nice Tehran and Iran!
Hi Baharigak! Yayy!! I'm so happy that I was able to show you a slice of Tehran! Isn't it beautiful? I just love all of the hustle and bustle and lights at night. I hope one of these days you can all meet in Tehran for a new experience. Thanks for taking the time to watch and for leaving me your kind comments :)
Totally agree, Rez! My hope is that some non-Iranians will see the video as well and learn more about what Iran and Iranians are really like! Thank you for watching!!
We have 7000 thousands history, if the world still does not see us, I can help for sure. to be honest, his comment, about humanity side of iran, is too harsh. We do not need the world to see us!!
I'm not the fan of burning flag (like 99 % of iranians) But it's easy to understand say to your leaders step back from ME and stop attacking and threating our region. It's absolutely Iran's right to be afraid of dangerous acts of Israeal and USA in the world specially in Middle east. They make unrest and instability.
Amazing video! Loved everything about it, especially the song in the end. I hope to visit Iran in the near future seems like a beautiful country. Greetings from Mèxico!
Muchas gracias Alvz!! Me encanta el español y es mi sueño viajar a México algún día. Espero poder visitarlo pronto y espero que visites Irán. ¡No hay ningun pais como eso!
I have always heard that Iran is a happy, stable, modern country. It was cool getting to see this. The imposition of religious rules in everyone's lives is something I could do without in general.
I've been listening a lot about Iran from my dad and how it is very close to my native origins and culture, but after seeing this video I felt such a craving to visit in person and experience the atmosphere in real! Thank you for sharing!
Very nice vlog. I am working for my intercultural communication class presentation . Its group presentation and my topic is Iran. I am originally from Pakistan now live in USA and was happy to see similar traditions in culture. This vlog is very helpful.
"There was no profit to the Universe from my coming... And it's majesty was not increased from my going... And from no one did my two ears ever hear, the reason for my coming or going... Why am I here and why am I leaving?" Wow these are powerful lines. It just came out of nowhere. Respect to the old man.
It seems those lines touched a lot of people! My great-uncle was actually quoting the ancient Persian poet Omar Khayyam- you can learn more about that particular poem/verse at this link: exploringkhayyam.com/journal/2008/3/20/quatrain-47.html :)
Oh my goodness!! Haha i know it's Omar Khayyam and I even sent him a link to the poem which says it's from Omar Khayyam don't know why I typed "Rumi" - that was a typo! Thanks for pointing that out I just edited the comment in case there's any confusion.
Niloofar, I would like to thank you for taking your time to put a lot of effort to make this clip . I have been away from Iran almost about three decades now and watching your clip was like being with you on your trip to Iran. It brought back a lot of memories and tears to my eyes. God bless and wish you have a fabulous life ahead of you. Thanks a million. Much appreciated. Cheers.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write me this sweet comment Mirai! I am so glad I could take you on a virtual trip with me and thank you so much for all the well wishes!!
İ am from Azerbaijan but l live in turkey(ı am a student ) İ want to visit İran.because iran people are very amiable.and iran is very historical country in both i am shia and i visitit İmam Rza ..Is there life expensive ?how many hotel prices are there? If you inform me, please.everyone greetings:))
Hi ayan! I hope you have an amazing trip to Iran! Unfortunately, I don't think I can be much help because I have never had to stay in a hotel since i have so much family there. In general Tehran is an expensive city for the people who live in Tehran, but for me as an American traveling with American dollars it's very affordable. I don't know the exchange rate between Turkish and Iranian money so I'm not sure how expensive it would be for you. Maybe another viewer will see this and can leave you a comment with better information. Sorry :(
salam you can study fiqh of shia in howze in ghom or tehran or mashhad or esfahan or shiraz , i prefer tabriz for a azeri but ghom is best for fiqh specially , jame atol mustafa search they pay all money for study fiqh in iran and support for living here
You have such a beautiful family! So warm and so friendly! Tehran is spectacular. Thank you for sharing and showing this beautiful city. And the food!! Great vlog!
I’m just crying because of the piano song cause my cousin always plays that for us when we are in iran with our family , I don’t wanna be selfish or racist , but Iran is a beautiful country just like so many other countries. I hope that all the Iranian will get back their freedom soon and then we will show all the world what a beautiful culture, country and people we have. Be sure that Iran is not that dangerous that they show it in medias, yes iran has bad political conditions, it is hard to live there and the reason is bad political system but the people are still kind and cute. So don’t judge Iran and Iranian , I prefer anybody to visit Iran .(it’s worth it) Iranian ❤️from Germany
Merci Niloo Jan. I became very emotional from watching this video. All of my family is in Iran and I hope to visit them soon. I have not returned since 2006. We are all Jewish but we are treated very well by the government unlike many Americans think. Pray for Mr. Trump to stop war too. I cried watching this. Thank you!!
Hi fellow Niloo!! That means so much to me that my video touched you in some way! I really do hope you can visit again soon. I'm praying hard for peace and diplomacy!!!
I'm so glad you've gotten to experience it, Dusan! Thank you for encouraging others to do the same! I really wish more people would/could travel to Tehran - it's such a unique place!
I'm Greek and because of my profession, I was honoured to experience the Iranian hospitality, on an Iranian merchant vessel.
It was just beyond words.
About the people?

From the first second, from captain to the last sailor, all was referring to me as "brother from Hellas". Just amazing.
They made me regret and change completely the wrong idea I had for Iran, feed by the media.

Oh wow! How did you end up visiting Iran, Jan!? That's awesome! Wish more Americans could/would visit!
Unfortunately politics are not made by common people...everywhere.
No one blames the people, it is the government
Thanks alot.
Yes Usa Saudi Israel NATO gamging up on Iran but they will never be able to defeat or destroy Iran.
Iran stands tall and strong 🇮🇷👑🦁
It's all about politics
Iran is a beautiful country may God protect it from any harm and war . Love from your neighbors in Iraq.
Aww!! I love this! World peace one RUclips comment a time! :) Love from the USA and Iran! :)
Sumerian King that's very kind of u

Abhi 739
What do you mean? I️ am Iraqi and Sumerians are part of Iraq’s history

_"Not Without My Daughter"_ was a horrible movie/book aimed at dehumanizing Iranian people and their culture. this, and *dozens of Hollywodian* productions has made Americans very hostile towards anything remotely related to Iran, the people and their government lumped together into a made-up entity.
Im italian I ve been in Iran many times It s an amazing country, great People, great food! 💗
Ciao Andrea! Oh that's so fantastic that you've been to Iran! And I'm so happy you loved it! I love Italy and actually of all the European cities I visited, Rome was the one that reminded me the most of Tehran. Hope to visit again someday! Abbracci dall'america! :)
We love Italy too. I mean my name is Fabrizio Agosto lol my real name. Greetings from Iran friend
In Poland we have same way of greetings with older relatives .All the best to Iranian
Thank you so much! All the best to Poland and the Polish people :)
In Switzerland, we also give 3 kisses on the right and left cheek to relatives and close friends :) And we also take off the shoes in houses and apartments

Hi Chris! Nice to hear from you again :) Aww so glad you enjoyed my video! Thanks for watching!
yo why does the news make these beautiful countries look so bad when they are just beautiful
Aww thank you so much, Lulu! Glad I could show you a different view :)
well our state T.V shows every second is a mass shooting in theUS and COPS beat the shit of black Americans but we know that is not the case. Likewise Foxnews and others try to show ppl of Iran as a backwarded and wife beating nation which of course is not true. Things are not perfct down here like every where in the world, could it be better? Yes
Because they want you to think like this ;)
Because it happens in 1979 during the iranian revolution
The regime of Iran don't let the people live how they want but people are..

My daughter is half Iranian. Her father was here in the US before the revolution in the Iranian military. My daughter is now 42 and has 4 sons. It's sad she never met her father and he has never met his daughter and grandsons. Iran is a beautiful country and the people are always hospitable, just lovely people.

Hi Alexander , do you know Croatians are originally from ancient Persia. Those nation immigrated from Iran to the land that named Croatia today.
@@hosseinmoeini1428
No dude, it's a theory, btw they weren't from Iran, they claim they were from Sarmatian (part of Scythians that were in Ukraine).
After all Slavs are close to Iranic tribes. And Croats are close just like other Slavs, specially about the language.
I wish Iran was never invaded, they basically invented the West.

Ola!! Thanks so much for the encouragement! I really hope you do visit Iran someday and hopefully I will get to see Brazil! :D
You'll welcome to Iran😀 Iranian people are so hospitable. I'm sure you will enjoy your visit 😝

Enforcement about covering the hair may be lax in Tehran but that does not apply to the rest of Iran. Tehran does not reflect all of Iran!

Aww!! That is so nice fultepante! Things have changed a lot since then, of course, but the people are still the same!!
@@NilooS may be we are going to meet there!!!!
i wish all the best to Iranian people, greeting from saudi arabia
Thank you so much, moby! All the best to you as well!
I thought you were a kurd?
Dariush Ashkani no, im not Kurdish.
Baharigak so you are anturk pashtun!?
Dariush Ashkani she is an turk pashtun bro
Girl .... You remind me my great memories, family and the great culture that I came from...The culture of real life and love
Aww! Thanks so much, Pouya! So happy you I could impact you with my little video!
Huge respect and love from India :3 Long live Indian-Persian friendship :D

I miss my city,Tehran. I really homesick for my hometown.
wow I can't wait to go to Iran!!! I was born in Canada to Iranian parents and finally I go for the first time this summer. I CANT WAIT!!!!! :)
OMG that's SO exciting!!! You're going to have SO much fun!! Have a great trip!
oh same! I'm Iranian born in Austria and will also go this summer. These videos are so interesting for me :)
Love hearing about all my fellow second generation Iranians visiting for the first time! Hope you enjoy it! :)
Loved it! The world needs to see the human side of Iranians.
Totally agree, Rez! My hope is that some non-Iranians will see the video as well and learn more about what Iran and Iranians are really like! Thank you for watching!!
What do you fucking mean? We are humans, we are not animals!
We have 7000 thousands history, if the world still does not see us, I can help for sure. to be honest, his comment, about humanity side of iran, is too harsh. We do not need the world to see us!!
Thanks bro but there is no a non-human side of Iranians neither!
There is just propaganda from medias against us
I'm not the fan of burning flag (like 99 % of iranians) But it's easy to understand say to your leaders step back from ME and stop attacking and threating our region. It's absolutely Iran's right to be afraid of dangerous acts of Israeal and USA in the world specially in Middle east. They make unrest and instability.
Nice vídeo, from Brazil.
Obrigado, Vanessa!
Amazing video! Loved everything about it, especially the song in the end. I hope to visit Iran in the near future seems like a beautiful country. Greetings from Mèxico!
Muchas gracias Alvz!!
I have always heard that Iran is a happy, stable, modern country. It was cool getting to see this. The imposition of religious rules in everyone's lives is something I could do without in general.
So glad I could show you around the city :) Thanks for watching! :)
I've been listening a lot about Iran from my dad and how it is very close to my native origins and culture, but after seeing this video I felt such a craving to visit in person and experience the atmosphere in real! Thank you for sharing!
Are you Russian? (Guessing based on your name!) I really do hope you can visit Iran someday! It's such a unique place!
Greeting from 🇸🇴 Somali love to Iran
Wow so amazing to see people from all over the world are watching my video!! Greetings from the USA! :)
Wow wow I can't believe it Iran is the best city I have ever seen people are beautiful lol
Agree! Love Tehran - such a unique city! :)
Very nice vlog. I am working for my intercultural communication class presentation . Its group presentation and my topic is Iran. I am originally from Pakistan now live in USA and was happy to see similar traditions in culture. This vlog is very helpful.
Oh wow! So glad I could help with your project!! :D Good luck on your presentation! :)
"There was no profit to the Universe from my coming...
And it's majesty was not increased from my going...
And from no one did my two ears ever hear, the reason for my coming or going...
Why am I here and why am I leaving?"
Wow these are powerful lines.
Niloo Wow I didn't know that. Thanks for the link!
@@NilooS hi Nifol, This is not a poem by Rumi, these are the poems of Omar Khayyam.

Great vlog!
Thank you SO much, Graylin! I'm so glad the warmth translated in the video. Thanks for taking the time to watch and so glad you enjoyed it :)
So don’t judge Iran and Iranian , I prefer anybody to visit Iran .(it’s worth it)
Iranian ❤️from Germany
Merci Niloo Jan. I became very emotional from watching this video. All of my family is in Iran and I hope to visit them soon. I have not returned since 2006. We are all Jewish but we are treated very well by the government unlike many Americans think. Pray for Mr. Trump to stop war too. I cried watching this. Thank you!!
Hi fellow Niloo!! That means so much to me that my video touched you in some way! I really do hope you can visit again soon. I'm praying hard for peace and diplomacy!!!
I have been there....defo everyone should visit Iran...amazing place and culture...god save it from any harm of West...love from Slovakia...:-)
I'm so glad you've gotten to experience it, Dusan! Thank you for encouraging others to do the same! I really wish more people would/could travel to Tehran - it's such a unique place!
