Omg those are elderberries, I pass them all the time and never knew, plus elderberries are always sold in gummy form and I hate them and they’re expensive!! Now I can just pick them off the tree THANK YOU!!
New subscriber! I absolutely love your channel and really appreciate the connection you have with nature. I think it's really great to join a community garden. I created a small balcony garden this spring and will one day have a food forest. But I think I will look into community gardens as a way to grow more. It's so therapeutic but you do have to tend to it often so it's great that you got a key. I also love the way that you utilize your space for storing the herbs.

Growing up I hated eating Carille/Bitter Melon but as an adult I've had a better appreciation for it. I usually cut them up, sprinkle salt and let it sit for a while (the salt pulls out extra moisture and you can drink that as a shot) then I fry it with onions and tomatoes, it's still bitter 🥴 but great . 🤎
