lots of people do not find love and it is not their fault , life' is difficult and relationships are hard if not impossible . telling people they just need to open up their heart to love and they will find it is just ridiculous and quite frankly a lie
I don’t want any mind games on either side and no manipulating anybody. We are each individuals with our own likes and dislikes. No changing anyone. Everything I say is what I truly believe. I’ve learned so much about me and about life and know myself. Not crafting anything.
Go for it! just make sure he/she is receptive to who you are. Even if it's slow going at first. I had an interesting experience, I was able to get back into contact with my ex, back after an emotional reaction on my part, she said that she thinks it's best for both of us to move on, I reached out a bit after that, but she never replied. It's sad. I truly loved her, but she's made it clear to me that she's keeping that wall up intentionally at this point, and I don't want to be in a relationship with someone who intentionally makes efforts to keep me out of their life. I need someone who can see me, and accept me as I am, that's what I'm working towards now. So moral of the story, make sure all the effort can be reciprocated, a relationship should never be one way effort. That was my mistake for far too long. However, I sincerely wish you the best on your journey!
True. Withholding emotions and communication when you need it the most will lead to tears. Give through that a few too many times.

I want to explore with honesty and vulnerability and trust in getting back together. I am in a good place emotionally.

When I say getting back together I mean as in talking again and getting to know each other again. I am not trying to manipulate anything.
