  • Solo kayak camping with a hennessy hammock on the western norwegian coast. Amazing nature and fantastic scenery! Nothing beats making your morning coffee on the oceanfront.
    ☕️🔥🍺🏊☀️
The kayak is a boreal baffin P2, and the hammock is a Hennessy Safari Asym Zip.
The spot in the video is just south of Bergen, in Bjørnafjorden. Very close to the island Lepsøy.

First, nice kayak! And, not just because you have a GoPro mount attached (but that is a BIG part of it for me, lol)
Second, I COMPLETELY understand about shooting videos in the company of other people. It's very difficult to get the shots that you want to get... other people don't "get it".
Third, I get it. AMAZING video! I'm jealous. inspired, and jealous! Thanks for posting this! The amount of time and energy required to produce this is very much appreciated!

Thanks a lot for the nice feedback!! Yes, it takes a fair bit of work making such videos. You have the added complexity of water and camera equipment not liking that. To drag a mirrorless camera, gimbal, drone, lenses, batteries, drone .. to drag all that stuff along you need to be a bit of a nerd. But heck, capturing the footage and working on it when you get back home kind of extends the trip. I'm just an amateur but being able to share this stuff is something I really enjoy. Can't wait for more adventures :-)

Great video Eivind, peace and harmony with nature - so enjoyable. Greetings from Scotland.
Hoping to start Kayak touring very soon. Done plenty of Backpacking and Bikepacking over the years. For all these activities, a great tip is to make a list of EVERY SINGLE ITEM you took with you when you get back home. Modify and update it as needed, then use this list each time you pack to go away. Keep repeating the process and your trips just get better and better, plus you will not forget anything !

The list is smart. I’ve done that on motorcycle camping since I want to travel light. Anything that proved non essential is removed from the list and the luggage shrinks each time.
You’ll love kayaking and camping. You don’t need to carry the weight so even beer can be brought along 😀

Yeah they can be intense. This wasn’t too bad … at least the mosquito net helps a lot

Hello Eivind. Love your videos. You haven’t done one involving fishing in a while! What is the brand/make of your cooking set you were using while camping? It looked like a kettle, a pot, stove all in one. Thanks.

Nicholas DiCosmo that cooking set is “Trangia”. A bit heavy and large, but you can cook in a bit of wind and it comes with a kettle 2 pots and a frying pan. It’s been used for so much of my cooking this summer!! It’s been a while with no fishing videos, it’s been way too busy ...

Mantuliz007 just let me know if you need any input in your planning or if you want company for a day or two on the journey. I travel by hammock and cook my own food - cost next to nothing traveling like this and still having a fantastic time.

Leo F.h tror faktisk ikke vi har vært innom bekkjarvik med den båten, og det er utrolig siden vi har vært i hver krinkelkrok på Vestlandet 😀
