    TY Michal, Raced last night and your point on concentration hit home. Was racing the A main where I qualified in the back. Leaders wrecked in the first lap. I ended up in third and the first four minutes of the race I was less than a second off of second place. We ran that way consistently for the whole first four minutes. I was gradually noticing the top two drivers behind us ever slightly gaining ground every lap. I think my concentration shifted too much to them and I hooked a pipe. Lesson learned, was a fun day.

    Random standby observers have no idea what it takes to have a championship setup on the car let alone to have the mental game to win a big race. You go to Two Worlds and you see 200 people in the pits... and yet, you have to visualize that you are going to be the best of them all. Easy, huh? :)

    Hi michal,
    Thanks for this very helpfull vidéo cause my main problems at racing is... mental. 🙄
    I know my Schumacher 's cars are good and î know I'm fast enough for me when training alone, even with my Lapmonitor , cause i'm "free" mentaly.
    But... but when I drive the car on racing, when I have made 2 or 3 mn on qualifying, i can feel my hands shaking, i' m affraid to put power even if i know i can do it easely...
    In one world, I'm just scaring to do the Mistake!!! And of course, because i'm affraid to put the same power i do on training, i do the Mistake. 😪
    I really need to find a way to cool myself but i don't know how... 🤔
    How, when I am actually racing and i Feel this stress, i can change my mental and drive just like i do on training? If you have any solution, i would be very very happy to learn from you.
    Thanks a lot for your help.
    A french fan. ;)

    Another good one, Michal! Thank you. Actually you told a lot that I already know or experienced in the past, BUT........ still have to work on... You talked about some very important aspects. I think the ultimate goal for any driver is to get in that ‘zone’ (NOT only to win that race, there’s only one winner...). That ‘magic zone’ ain’t only to find at a racetrack or raceday. You can find it everywhere YOU are yourself. What I mean is; it’s all in the mind. You can be (start getting in) that zone when you’re working on your car at home or when visiting a hobby shop or talking about rc cars with your friends. So if you’re able to do that already then, the chance will be bigger to get in that zone and feel one with your car during raceday. So... Away with all that unnecessary stress and make room for FUN (because that’s what it’s all about) !!! 🙂 I’m sure it’ll give you a lot more CONFIDENCE !!! 😁😉😉😉

    @ Michal Orlowski Racing there is always fun and giggling in the pit area but when you make first steps on the ladder that takes you to the driver stand, your knees can produce an earthquake because of how much they shake. Pressure drops only after crossing the line.

    I really like your professional approach to racing. For me it is always challenging to stay calm and focused. The most difficult part during a race for me is the start in a final. When i start from position one i almost always mess up the first turn. Do you have any advice to improve starting in a final especially with the pack in the neck?

    • @MichalOrlowskiRacing
      @MichalOrlowskiRacing  4 года назад +2

      before the final starts, do as many practice starts as possible, go threw the first couple of corners every time, so your muscle memory helps you. Look in front of You, never look at the field behind You, stay focused on doing Your own race!
