We need to turn this into a sport faaaaast! Your ahead of the curve for sure. I just started snowboarding in February of this year. I got a skateboard cause I can’t hit the mountain right now. So I got a longboard and been battling hills ever since lol but the snowskate takes the cake. I’m getting one next season. Come to Mt. Hood and let’s ride 🤙🏾
if you are near mt. hood you need to come out to Maryhill! thank you bro. I think the snowskate has major potential as a learning tool for downhill skating.
I have always wondered how a skate would perform in this configuration. Epic to see that it works and the riding style translates so well. Excited to see what you have coming!
ever thought of making a tutorial? been watching your content since i saw it on longo fam a few years ago(you told me to go to big bear).. well this weekend i decided to try it out and i wiped out hard quite a bit. kind of started to get it towards the end but definitely have a long way to go.
@@harrisonbell1193 I can really see this becoming a huge sport, it's really just natural progression for downhill skaters to transition to this for the season! Big up dawg!
I think the snow skates top deck are too high and too skinny. If the top deck was wider so feet didn't hang off, you could lower it down quite a bit and put edges on the top deck so at full lean the top deck edges grabbed the snow and help carve for a dual edge carving radius. I think it would have much better carvability and feel even better
its a little counterintuitive. wide top deck limits lean while wide sub deck increases lean. this setup didn't have enough edge hold. I have a new setup that I can use to cut lines with both the top and sub deck at max lean. it's the most fun
you got this dude. if all you do is put time in you will crush your goal

Love the play by play. Beautiful clips. Nice work. 🎉

Awesome Vid. The speed is crazy.
partially looks that way because I film with a 360 camera. this is normal for skiing/snowboarding. it's pretty fast for snowskating though
❤
Stoked to watch you skate this season. Your videos are awesome
thank you
Omni sub looks solid! Keep sending it!💜🛹🔥❄️🧨
thank you man!

it's a huge learning curve. Best advice is keep at it and figure out what you like so you can get custom gear down the road
Bro the fakie niiice man. I wanna get a snow skate to try to rip some longboard dancing down the hill although I love your downhill style too
Nice run !!!!
thanks man
These videos give me confidence to ride harder and faster, rip it.
thanks dude!
What kind of shoes are you using? Sweet vid mate!
thank you. the shoes are Vans SK8-HI MTE3
This is crazy
Insta360?
no, GoPro Max 360
Bro where can I get a set up like this?
it's just a prototype at the moment. I'm a broke ass ski bum with no means to actually produce any snowskates for sale
@@harrisonbell1193 what are the trucks for something like this? was is custom or pulled from a snow skate?
@@martinnicolasjuan the trucks are just like any standard snowskate trucks. im working on a prototype set, thats all I have the money for right now

I need that setup ASAP
