I am from Kadapa district Andhra Pradesh. It is in Southern part of Andhra Pradesh close to Tamilnadu. I can't speak hindi
I was allotted medical seat in government medical College vizianagaram based on my neet score
21 people came through all india quota and total class strength is 150
But i see more hindi words than Telugu more hindi culture than Telugu. As someone who is close to Tamil Nadu, i also love my language very much. Infact people in my region are unaware of hindi
But now after coming to vizianagaram i realised how arrogant hindi people. They want to destroy local culture and want hindi to be imposed on everyone. I am literally crying. They are killing my mother and culture 😥😢😢. They say that entire north speaks hindi and even threatening me to speak hindi

As a bengali I completely agree with the hindi domination part. Central govt examinations should be in English and mother tongue of the candidate. Compulsory hindi gives hindi speakers a huge advantage in national level competitions.
Courtesy bollywood, hidi is the de facto lingua franca. But English is a better option.
But I also feel that tamils or dravidians neednot be as hostile to the northies as they are at the moment. History has always been a story of give and take. The cholas had raided up north from tamil nadu all along the east coast right upto southern bengal. The karnats had raided upto mithila (modern day bihar). And they had taken back north Indian culture and men including brahmins with them. Tamil does have a fair amount of sanskrit vocabulary. DMK-s poll insign is called Udayan Suryan, top leader has a Sanskrit name, Karuna Nidhi. Also Jaya-Lalitha is a sanskrit name. Sanskrit itself has tamil words. It is very natural to have loan words and common words between neighbouring cultures.
Just as the dravidian kings were taking brahmins from north and planting them down south, so were the kings in the north taking tam-brahms and planting them in their kingdoms. My native place used to be ruled by the Singha-dev dynasty who brought Iyengar Brahmins to their capital and started calling them Acharyas. Their original surname was no longer used, but one could easily make out from their appearance that they were Tamil.
I would go the Shankaracharya way. He started a system of bringing northern priests to the southern temples and southern priests to temples of the north. So we had tam-brahms doing priest's job in kedarnath and badrinath.
Hindu religion is not defined by northern gods alone. Vishnu (ananta) is the god of the ocean a southern god. Shiva-parvati are gods of the himalayas. It would be wrong to say the north always dominated over the south and forced its culture on them. Vedic worship had no temples. Temples are a southern concept. And the southern people made the most ornate temples that are architectural marvels. For a hindu of the north, the southern temples are great pilgrimages.
I think GOI needs to tone down on Hindi policies. Sanskrit has great literature. We all can read sanskrit as a hobby. Tamils are a part of our great culture and a major contributor to the indian way of life. India should remain the cultural melting pot it always has been. There are lesser differences between the north and the south than portrayed by politicians. Lets keep politics aside and enjoy each other's way of life.

Well said.. There are many MP seats from hindi speaking states. To appease them politicians coin Hindi national language topic. No one likes any other language domination over their own. Sanskrit has played the link language role in the ancient India and so it has some kind of influence on the local languages. And Sanskrit infact doesn't have it's own script. So now govt should make it clear everybody that Hindi is not going to be a linked language. Local language and English must be given priority. Sanskrit with a new script must be developed to make it as a thired language which is Indian. It means everybody learns three languages. All the tests must be conducted in all the languages, Computer/mobile based online tests which reduces cost burden on the govt.

What you mentioned about the sanskrit words like udhaya suryan, karuna nidhi used in TN is correct. But that is becoz, the dravidian movement by periyar, karunanidhi are fake, cheating ideology to cheat Tamil people. Dravida movement is for the telughu people living in TN, to hide their telughu identity, to cheat and rule over tamils. Karunanidhi is a telughu guy. That us why they continue to use sanskrit words in tamil, though tamil will function fully even without a single sanskrit word. Read about someone called Marai Malai Adigal.
Now tamil nationalism ideology is spreading fast among tamils in TN and it will take few more years to be visible outside of TN, you will eventually see.
Now north Indian hindi imperialism will meet its real challenger in the name of tamil nationalism, not the fake dravidian movement

We can give many examples to show that Sanskrit itself is created by Tamil siddhas. Sanskrit itself is a Tamil word. Samam+ Kirutham (Both Tamil words) meaning Equaliser + script= Sama s kirutham =Samaskritham= Samskrit= Sanskrit. The words like scribble, crypto all came from the same Tamil word Keeru / Keerudal meaning scribble. But why call it as equaliser language. This language was artificially created by the South indian Siddhas to make the language more compatible with all dialects of Tamil, Pali ,Prikrit including a few words from Persian for easy administration of the entire Indian sub continent.
Arathi the so-called Sanskrit word is a combination of two Tamil words Aaram + Tee (Thee) Aram means Circular in Tamil+ Tee means fire in Tamil. Aaram Tee means fire in a circle. Arathi.
Similarly Priyanka = Piriya + Angam. Piriya means inseparable in Tamil+ Angam Part of the body in Tamil. Total meaning One is an inseparable part of the other's body . That close.
Similarly Aaditya so called Sanskrit word Aadi+Tee means Aadi means oldest , earliest, or first in Tamil+ Tee means fire . i.e the Sun the first or oldest or earliest fire.
Another word PUJA a so called Sanskrit word is truly a combination of two Tamil words. PUJA = Pujai = Poo ( Flower) (பூ) + Sei (செய்)(Offer) Means Flower offering to the God. While telling slokhas the Poojari ( Poo+ Sei + Aasari) offers flowers to the Idol of God.
Similarly hundreds of Sanskrit words can be decoded only by Tamil. Sanskrit need not be diminished in its beauty of it's own however. But at the same time Tamil's claim for its oldest and original natural language status should not be diminished because of over dominating narratives against it. Sanskrit cannot exist without Tamil but Tamil can exist independently without Sanskrit. English too has the same situation.

Then except the Hindi folks of India, the rest never had any issue with a lack of common language and never were insecure of a lack of common language. Those Hindi folks with a colonial mindset are creating this issue that never existed due to either their insecurity or supremacist attitude as apart from English, only their mother tongue was made the official language of the union.

@@payilagampodcast Proto-Tamil did not originate in India. The Keezhadi site is about 2,600 years old, but genetic and linguistic evidence from Iran is over 5,000 years old. Proto-Dravidians are believed to have originated from Iranian farmers and Zagrosian hunter-gatherers who migrated to India and diverged from their peers between 10,000 and 5,000 years ago.
Dravidian-like Zagrosians moved into India and mixed with the AASI (Ancient Ancestral South Indian) populations, forming the Indus Valley Civilization (IVC) peoples. The Brahui language in Pakistan may also link to this migration from Iran to South India, similar to Sanskrit. These proto-Iranian farmers 'Dravidianized' ancient India through displacement and intermixing with Andamanese tribes.
Both proto-Aryan and Dravidian languages originated in Iran, but neither was the first language in India. The language of the Bo people from the Andamanese is likely the oldest language we know of in India, much older than Sanskrit or Tamil.

With due respect to you Mr. Sandeep, I feel you have described the mindset of tamils who lived about 50 years ago. The scenario today is totally different. Present day tamilians particularly in tamilnadu are in fact ashamed of their language.I am from Kerala. When I go for shopping in a mall or supermarket in kochi and ask them the price of a product, they will answer in the native language. Whereas in Chennai I had never heard sales executive using native language. In Kerala when we go to restaurant we ask " oonu undo". Where as in Chennai they ask "Meals irukka". I had even seen tamils in tamilnadu discussing and chatting in English among them, a trait you wouldn't find in malayalis. I wonder how you can assume that tamils are against Sanskrit when almost 99.9 percent parents give their children unintelligible Sanskrit names. Almost 90% of tamil hindus get married as per the vedic ritual where the brahmins chant the holy Sanskrit mantras. So in today's world, tamil is just a political tool to garner few more votes by the political parties. Last but not the least. For a man like you who has a beautiful tamil name for your channel and at the same time, wearing a t shirt with the image of a mindless anarchist who had insulted tamil language and tamil people till he breathed his last is highly ironical.

    • @payilagampodcast
      @payilagampodcast  Месяц назад

Thank you for your detailed response. You are most correct about Malayalam and Malayalis using more of their language especially in spoken(Oonu is an old Tamil word that Chera Tamil sustained through the additions of Manipravalam into Malayalam) than English additions.
However, it must also be stated here that the second most proliferating literature and publications bought and read (second only to Hindi due to the sheer number of Governments in India who spend on Hindi) in Indian languages is Tamil.
Therefore, while spoken may have widened, this does not necessarily mean that the Thamizhar has left Tamil as yet.
Regarding Sanskrit in names, astrology and Eevera Periyar’s philosophy and ideas on Tamil, justice can only be done to them if separate videos were to be made on these topics. We will endeavor to address them very soon

    1. Sanskrit Logic
Logic applied till 19th CE - Sanskrit was not taught to Shudras - it is unfair that precious wisdom in the language has been kept away from masses.
Logic applied after 19th CE - Sanskrit is an abusive language and not worth learning. It is unfair if this is taught in schools today 😀
    2. Colour logic
Shudras are the dark skinned people and hence, they were abused by the other three classes who were fair (is it???? 😀)
Hindus used to revere dark skinned people - Krishna, Rama, Parvati, Vyasa and even Vishnu .... Oops!!! Let us not talk about this as this will dent the narrative 😀😀
The arguments given in this video are at least a century old. It is interesting that these continue to be peddled even in the 21st CE and by the younger generation too - I guess some things change but some things don't😀😀

The origin of caste is in the Varna system that was etched in the vedas. Rig vedas is claimed to be written around 1500 - 1000BCE.
    RIG VEDA 9.10-PURUSH SUKTA
baraahmano.asy mukhamaaseed baahoo raajanyah krt: |
oorootadasy yad vaishyah padbhyaan shoodro ajaayat ||
As per above verse, Brahmans come from the mouth, Kshatriya come from the arms, Vaishyas come from the thighs and the Shudras come from the feet.
Furthermore in the Brihad Araṇyaka Upaṇiṣad discusses the concept of the four divisions of society and says that Brahma created the Brahmā (Brahmanhood or spiritual power) but he could not flourish so he created the principle of kṣatra or temporal power represented by the gods Indra, Varuna, Soma, Rudra, parjanya, Yama, Mrtyu and Iśāna. - yet still he could not flourish so he created the principle of viś which means a settlement of agriculturalist and herders represented by the groups of gods known as the Vasus, Adityas (among them Vishnu), Vishvedevas and Maruts.
This is the origin of the caste.

India is the ONLY NATION, Tamils are NOT a nation.
Please educate yourself about Union of States vs Nation. The States in the Union of India are mere administrative units - they have no political basis beyond administration. Tamil Nadu was "Created" by the Indian Govt - not like in the USA where States formed a Union.
The term "Union of States" in the Constitution is therefore only indicative of the division of democratic political power in India - not identity. The Constition of India recognises only ONE national identity - Indian. Please read BR Ambedkar on the quasi federal nature of Indian Constition and the rejection of Regional identities.

The term dharma is complex so it is also the most misused word. Dharma can be best told as innate nature. A bad man will move towards bad even if he tries his best. After this there will come the nature of disconnecting himself from the world which will be another part. Svyam svabhavam means your own nature not duty. Duty means kartvya. Svabhavam is actually used in telugu and it is directly translated to nature. For example, vajram svbhavam meravadam. It means diamond's nature is to shine. If you are a revolutionary how dumb will it be if you go around doing an ordinary desk job. And you said that people changing dharma. It means sachin playing cricket and not sachin becoming doctor. Sachin may be a good doctor but what do you say is best? And about manusmriti if it is a discriminatory book why does it have a line saying a brahmin should punished nearly 8 times more than vaishya. Brahmins have a duty to give education free of cost and they should not hold businesses and should live from donations. I would suggest you to pick the lines that put brahmins in unfortunate positions too. And about khastriya what is their duty tell that too. A khastriya have to fight even if he had to die. You give duties to one section of people and want other section to only enjoy benefits. And about so called jobs. when marathi's, Gujrati's, and punjabi's are not having a problem why do you get so offended by this? Punjabi''s made it big into music and they never said punjabi will die because they use hindi. About postal service will he speak tamil if he goes to other state? Like it or not north and south can be managed by hindi and northeast can be managed by english. I can find more people in south India that can communicate in english than people who speak only tamil. And I don't know about the thread issue and honestly I don't think anybody cares. When sanskrit is not taught to people isn't it good that you can use your tamil.
