- Our first audit since 1.6 came out. We finish a lot of the new items but there are plenty more to go.

Wouldn't it roll the money back to zero bc of 32 integer limit or is there another limit before that to prevent it rolling
@@adonscadlock1704 I don't know what type was used but assuming its an int he'd have to make over 2.147 billion dollars so I doubt it. If its a long then there's 0 shot it'll roll over.

Interestingly, 1.6.9 added 10 new items, roe and aged roe for all the legendary fish, since you can now place them in fish ponds. Technically they were previously attainable because of the book that gets you roe in treasure chests, but since you can only catch the legendary fish once, you could only have a limited amount, so they weren't 999 stackable.
@@T101G It also works for the extended family legendaries! Unfortunately for me I no longer have my original legendary fish and there's no way to get them back. So I will not be able to get those stacks. According to my rules, that's fine because it's a "missable" stack. Meaning you can put your game into a state where you are unable to get it anymore.
@@TheAlGoreRhythm999 I really hope CA adds the legendary fish as "unique item you can buy if lost" shop, when seeing that update the first thing i thought was that it could really be sad if you sold yours
They technically existed ever since 1.6 via the book that makes you fish roe when getting a chest. 1.6.9 makes it much easier to acquire thanks to ponds
@@Ravenjim93 yeah I know, but I'm specifically talking about items that you can make a stack of. They were limited before since you can only catch a legendary once.

This is incredible! I remember when you started this challenge, and people were wondering how long it would take to get the 999 tea sets that you can get at the Winter Star Festival. It's so good that they added an option to buy them after year 25, that rule was surely made just for you.

This did happen in Terraria. I don't expect it to change in stardew though. There's not really issues with inventory for the vast majority of players. At least in terms of how many you can stack.

I am doing this too, thanks to you. Haha, it is wild, and for me, the toughest would be that rock candy every thursday from desert travellers. Always missed that day!
Oh i'm very sorry to let you know that getting the magic rock candy every thursday is by no means the toughest. You'll have plenty of Thursdays to get the magic rock candy collecting 999 of things like the tea set or statue of blessings. Good luck, keep going

Hello! Its the first time seeing you today as this video was recommended to me on the front page, I don't know the rules of this challenge but I was curious if you use any mods at all? As the lookup anything mod might benefit you for your audits. it has a "how many you own" in the list of info that it provides which might be helpful counting things. If someone has suggested this before or mods aren't allowed I'm sorry. You're dedication to this challenge is amazing, keep it up! looks like your getting there keep at it!!
I'm doing this challenge with no mods at all. I'm not opposed to mods, I just want this challenge to be vanilla..

You can use Deluxe Bait in Crab Pots to make them Silver Qual -- are you just ignoring that and keeping the stacked ones base quality? I guess it's as close to Iridium as you can get crabpot stuff.
@@clawtooth35 I'll be getting the silver quality eventually. I just haven't worked out exactly where I'm going to do it or when. I wish you could get iridium quality so it would match though.

im curious to know why you decided to go for iridium fish? the dedication is unreal, im impressed
To be honest, I kind of always wanted to go for iridium fish. Before 1.6 it wasn't realistically possible though. Even though 1.6 doubled the amount of iridium fish I needed, having the advanced iridium rod makes it possible.
I’d really love to watch through this series but there doesn’t seem to be any recaps of the first few years? Would be really happy if that was made, I can’t watch a series without seeing the start unfortunately
I've been working on the challenge since late 2016 but I didn't start streaming until 2022. I've been considering doing a video talking about the time before streaming though.

wouldn't clams only be noncompleted now because some are counted for crafting? if so why not just use the old normal quality ones for the crafting part and the iridium for fish collection, then bam clams are still completed

i’m new to this challenge, why does he need more than 999 for some of these items ? is it because he needs 999 of each quality of item ? but then for stuff like staircases, fiber and coal there’s no quality level so i’m confused. this is a super interesting challenge !!
On the spreadsheet I count items needed to make other items. For instance I need apples for the stack of apples but also for apple jelly, apple wine, dried apples, and any cooking recipes that have apples.

I think the trader on fridays and sundays can sell them? I think I saw her sell non specific wine before.
Yep, this is correct! The traveling cart sells them. Though it is fairly rare. Across the 81 years I've played, I've gotten about 100 of each.
I don't know if you'll see this but the links in your FAQ are all broken for me. I'm looking for a blank spreadsheet I can use for my modified version of the challenge and the link is broken.

@@emeraldfern6135 it's working fine for me. You can always take the current spreadsheet, make a copy, and erase everything in the raw columns to get a blank sheet.

Why do you need more than 999 of lots of lots of items
to craft some items! fish needs to be smoked, growable things can be dried and you need x5 of the items, and craftables can be stacked most of the time(that's why there's soooo much fiber needed)
