You should watch billy madison that's hilarious
Grandma's Boy is the BEST Happy-Madison (Sandler's production firm) film ever! Adam Sandler isn't in it, but he does produce it.
"He should go into anger management..." funny you should say that, because he was in a movie called Anger Managment with Jack Nicholson and it is hilarious, you should check it out.
@@2429Ryanspeer She said at the beginning of the video that she has seen that movie a lot.
Anger management is a must see
ANGER MANAGEMENT is a must see. He and Jack Nicholson are an iconic pairing.
As well as Billy Madison and Little Nicky
Big agree - that movie is great! As Good As It Gets is a great Jack Nicholson one while I'm thinking of it
I agree, so funny 😂
@@magusmelanie828 Nicholson's entire 1970s filmography is stellar. CHINATOWN is one of the greatest movies ever made IMO, and one of the rare movies I would say is perfectly executed. Also ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST.
Big Daddy too
23:35 Adam Sandler's delivery of "YOU'RE GONNA DIE CLOWN!" absolutely kills me every time I hear it. The man can be very funny when he puts in the effort.
"You can trouble me for a warm glass of shut the hell up." My bro and I use that line every time one of of us ask the other for a favor. Honestly, every scene is a classic. All time great movie.
Same, Ben stiller just had gold lines this whole movie. Ah your fingers hurt? Well now your backs gonna hurt because you just pulled landscaping duty
That fight with Bob Barker won the MTV Movie Award for Best Fight Scene. RIP Bob Barker's career of hosting game shows 1956-2007 what a legendary host he was
That fight is always going to be memorable to me.
Recently found out on Barkers last show Sandler surprised him with a poem.
@@paratus04 It wasn't on the last show, but it was close. It was on a special episode celebrating Bob's 50 years in television.
That scene was always played after fights at NHL games as well
I used to love watching him whenever I was home from school.
The Wedding Singer is a must see!
No it’s not, Deuce Bigalow with Rob Schneider is more of a “must see” than that
@@nsasupporter7557 what’s up rob
Best one.
Agreed. Fantastic movie
@@nsasupporter7557 The Animal
Fun Fact: Bob Barker, the Price Is Right guy, was trained by Chuck Norris. Hence why he kicked Happy Gilmore's butt.
I did not know that.
That really tall guy was kind of scary. That actor, Richard Kiel, was scary enough that he played Jaws, a villain, in the James Bond films "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "Moonraker".
He also played the convict that broke the guard's neck in the original The Longest Yard with Burt Reynolds. A few years after this, Sandler did the remake where he played Paul Crewe (Burts role in the original), and Burt had a supporting role.
That was him who played Jaws in The Spy Who Loved Me? I didn't even recognize him here lol
It’s also noteworthy that in between The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker, Richard Kiel; for a brief moment, was The Incredible Hulk. He was first cast to play The Hulk for television, but after shooting for about two weeks the producers felt he didn’t have the musculature needed for Hulk. So he was let go; replaced by Lou Ferrigno. But if you watch the pilot episode for The Incredible Hulk, there is footage of Kiel as The Hulk in the episode.
Wasn't he in the NFL before he got into acting?
@@ACNelson-officialchannel I know that Carl Weathers (Chubbs) played in both the NFL and CFL before concentrating on acting. I don't know about Richard Kiel.
“You could trouble me for a warm glass of shut the hell up” 😂😂 one of my fav lines from this movie
A classic line!
Haha! Mary said anger management...that better be the next Adam Sandler movie.
What about eight crazy nights? That was pretty good.
@@slanetroyard92 No.
I love that you know about Freaks and Geeks. So sad that show never got season 2.
Same
Watch Grandma's Boy and see Linda Cardellini :-)
@@MaryCherryOfficial the big checks he has are just novelties if some steals them they cant take them to the bang and cash them
@@MaryCherryOfficial Great Adam Sandler movies Just Go with It, Big Daddy, Little Nicky, BulletProof, Eight Crazy Nights and The Wedding Singer.
The Wedding Singer and The Waterboy are a MUST!
Never watched wedding singer
Anger Management and The Wedding Singer are absolute classic Adam Sandler movies
Bon Barker is very well-known in the US as a game show presenter, notably on 'The Price Is Right'. He is widely regarded as one of the nicest people out there. So many great things about his appearance in this movie. The producers thought they wouldn't get him, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask. But he surprisingly said yes.
Naturally, they were very worried about him getting hurt doing the fight scene. But, as it happens, Bob Barker has trained in martial arts for most of his life. So, almost all of that fight IS Bob. The only real work his stunt double had was in the part where they rolled down the hill.
When Bob talked about this scene in his book, he says one of the stuntpeople broke their back as a result of rolling down that hill.
@@bluebear1985 Oh, wow. I guess that shows why they HAVE stuntpeople.
the actor who played Shooter was brilliant in developing the perfect rival for Happy lmao...
"Thats your home! Dont you want to go to your home!? ANSWER ME!!!!"
🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Billy Madisin is a CLASSIC Adam Sandler movie!! Cant wait to see this! :D
The bit about eating pieces of shit for breakfast is such a classic and I still laugh about it regularly
In case you're wondering, that old man Happy (Adam Sandler) was playing with during the one tournament was Bob Barker, who was a popular TV presenter for many years. He's best known for hosting the game show "The Price is Right" from 1972 to 2007.
Everyone knows who Bob Barker is.
@@deckzone3000 Maybe in North America, but not so much in other countries.
He is a super nice guy in real life. Met him a couple times, living in New England. He takes care of people in all of his movies. The Happy Madison crew is so iconic now. Adam Sandler, Allen Covert (homeless guy), Chris Rock, David Spade, Dana Carvey, Rob Schneider, Jonathan Loughran, Nic Swardson, Blake Clark, Peter Dante (love that guy), Steve Buscemi, Brendan Fraser, Kevin James and even Henry Winkler now and the late Chris Farley RIP. Billy Madison is a must, as is The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, and definitely check out Anger Management just to name a few of his EXTENSIVE library. My gf is absolutely obsessed with Adam Sandler films.
20 years ago, Peter Dante and I used to be semi-regulars at a bar called Cue's Riverbottom in Burbank, right across the street from the Warner Bros lot. The greatest bar in LA, maybe in the world... It closed down, and not long afterwards, I quit drinking. I haven't seen him since...
@@benjauron5873 wow, that's so cool!
Don't forget my absolute fav but wild card. The Great Norm Macdonald
@@marlonthemarvellous That's right, the late, the great Norm MacDonald. RIP
Don't forget Kevin Nealon! 😁
Not everyone notices that when chubs shows both hands in the happy place the piano still keeps on playing
Yes love that detail makes it funnier
Physics behave different in one's happy place.
It's all in the hips
The Wedding Singer is an absolute must
I would go with "The Wedding Singer" or "The Waterboy" or "Little Nicky" all are really a lot of fun.
Mary emoting all of our reactions to Shooter's "all my friends" bullspit. LOL
17:42 onwards that scene in the bar is a classic scene with the rhyming 🤣🤣 and your reaction was priceless lol
I’m not a fan of sports either, but I think one movie that’s really underrated that I think you would enjoy is the replacements. It has Keanu Reeves in it, and I personally love the movie.
I really loved that movie, too
Punch-Drunk Love is his best movie IMO, it has a much different feel than the other early Sandler movies. He has some notable angry exchanges with Phillip Seymour-Hoffman
This is my favorite Adam Sandler movie. The story worked out just right. Nice reaction. Happy almost 200K subs Gilmore.
You laughing at the rhyme joke(may hay say etc.) made my day. I still laugh hysterically at that joke. I think i re-watched your reaction to it at least 30 times. 🤣🤣
Ben Stiller is a gem in this movie. Also 'Allen Covert' plays the bum who is basically in every other Sandler movie and 'Grandma's Boy'.
Billy Madison, The Wedding Singer, Big Daddy, Anger Management, 50 First Dates and Grown Ups are some other amazing comedies you should check out!
One more vote for Billy Madison, i believe it is the first Adam Sandler movie i have seen, and is still one of my favorites. And Grown Ups of course...
Re-watch the intro. She's seen Billy Madison and 50 First Dates numerous times
Another couple of his older films that are very good are Waterboy and The Longest Yard :)
Wedding singer my personal favorite Sandler comedy, this one is close second.
Caddyshack is also a great comedy golf movie, starring Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and Rodney Dangerfield.
Anger management is an amazingly funny movie. Its a must watch!
One of the funniest comedy movies in the 90s. This film is so nostalgic for me
Adam Sandler singing at a wedding after he was dumped at the altar is a classic scene that you must watch
Many comedy’s you review have former Saturday Night Live actors in them. This one has Adam Sandler and Kevin Nealon. Also in this movie was a cameo by golfer Lee Trevino. Plus the big guy was Richard Kiel who was in classic twilight zone and played Jaws in James Bond movies. Bob barker is famous TV game show host on “ the price is right” and was host of miss America and miss universe pageant.
It's crazy to think this film is old enough now that people don't recognize Bob barker when they see it
I checked your Google doc and was surprised to see you've never seen The Wedding Singer... since you mentioned 50 First Dates. The Wedding Singer is the first time Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler were in a movie together. Another recommendation would be Big Daddy both movies I think would align with your humor and aren't too over the top like some of his others.
While Adam Sandler isn't in it, his production company and a lot of the cast from his movies are in Grandma's Boy. Highly recommend
Adam Sandler had so many bangers in the 90s! Also, he had a reoccurring theme of the love interest having both names beginning with V, like Vicky Valencourt in The Waterboy, Veronica Vaughn in Billy Madison and Virginia Venit in this one
That happens in the 2015 film Pixels too.
Gotta watch Airheads, no question about it 😆
That movie doesn't get the love it deserves
one Adam Sandler movie that is not talked about enough and that I absolutely love is the Wedding Singer with Drew Barrymore. If you haven't see it you should check it out. It might be rough to edit though as there's a whole lot of great 80s music on the soundtrack.
Little Nicky is really funny and underrated!
Little Nicky is a great Adam Sandler movie to watch after seeing Happy Gilmore!
Other Sandler movies:
Airheads
Big Daddy
The Wedding Singer
The Waterboy
And yeah, Anger Management is good too.
Best Regards!
My absolute favorite Sandler movies are this and the Wedding Singer also Anger management, Waterboy are good. You should also check Pixels and Airheads. Airheads Sandler have a little smaller part.
I loved Airheads!!
I second Airheads!
Even after watching it a thousand times, this movie still makes me cry with laughter every time I watch it
This movie actually revitalized the game of golf for younger people. There are a lot of professional golfers today that were inspired to start playing by this film.
I was just watching reactions to this last night! Such a fun movie! I would also recommend The Longest Yard remake he did.
Fun Fact: Christopher McDonald, “Shooter” McGavin, is gonna be in the upcoming Secret Invasion series
In case you’re not aware, Bob Barker is an American icon/national treasure. He was the host of an incredibly popular game show called the Price Is Right where contestants would win prizes by guessing the prices of various household items
Truth & Consequences was a popular show, too
He steals every scene he's in in this movie
If you want some more Adam Sandler suggestions, I would say Bily Madison and The Waterboy are some more classic Adam Sandler comedies. I am also quite fond of The Longest Yard but I would watch the original 1974 one first before the 2005 remake.
She stated she already watched and loves Billy madison
Ohhh I definitely think Mary would love 'The Wedding Singer'. Really fun movie, romance, comedy, a little bit of everything. My personal favorite is 'The Waterboy'. Now THAT is a fun movie. Overall he's had a lot of solid movies and some that are realllllly silly/over the top. Even his bad movies are still pretty enjoyable/fun.
Yesss you definitely need to check out more adam sandler. Anger management is one of my favorite movies!
Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison is great comedies!
I love this movie and I am glad your reviewing it Mary
The tall guy(Richard Kiel), is also in "The Sky Who Loved Me," "Moonraker," and "The Longest Yard."
Inspector Gadget
This as a great reaction! And, YES, you need to watch Anger Management. It's a great movie with Sandler and Jack Nicholsen. And there is also Spanglish. And, in my opinion, one of his best movies . . . Punch-Drunk Love.
Reign Over Me, one of the more serious adam sandler films, Grandma's boy, is produced by adams production house and you can see a lot of his recurring friends in it, 50 first dates a rom com with drew barrymoore, wedding singer also with drew barrymoore. bulletproof Big daddy which he did a year after he did waterboy.
*serious
RIP Carl Weathers. 😔
This is a comedy masterpiece!! The best comedy film ever!!
Hey Cherry...Drama RULES!!! I'm glad you reacted to this AWESOME movie!!! (and I don't even play Hockey or Golf...but it's still a bang on movie...!
Adam Sandler was a producer on "Grandma's Boy", which is the funniest movie I've ever seen. He didn't star in it, but he had a hand in the comedy. Also, "Pixels" was really good, and he DID star in that one. Also, Airheads was a good movie that he was in, as well.
The star of the movie is Happy's homeless caddy.
I love Airheads!!
I love 90s Adam Sandler movies ❤😂
Rob Schneider is funnier than him
Gotta get on to "Anger Management" you'll love it.
Also check out "The Wedding Singer" since you've seen 50 first dates, it's Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in another good movie
Christopher McDonald, who played Shooter MacGavin, loved playing golf. In fact, it was the main reason that he took the role. He got to play golf while doing his job at the same time.
Grandma's Boy is a must watch! The guy who plays Happy's caddy is the lead and it's a super underrated but hilarious comedy.
Agreed, Grandma's boy is one of my favorite comedies. It's a short list of movies that I want to watch again immediately after they're over, but that one is one of them.
Fun fact cherry. Before julie was on modern family, she was the letter assistant on wheel of fortune
You should check out The Wedding Singer. It's one of Adam Sandler's best and it was the first film he did with Drew Barrymore.
Hi Mary! I just wanted to say thank you for being so awesome ! Your content always makes my day!
So your the simp of this channel
You are infectious. that laugh is amazing. Had a good time watching this reaction. First time i found you on youtube. thanks.
@22:00 the older guy Gilmore fights is Bob Barker. He was the host of an American weekday daytime game show called "The Price is Right" for multiple decades. Part of the humor of this moment most non-Americans (actually also many younger Americans too after so much time) wouldn't get.
I remember him, back when I was small and whenever I stay at my grandma's house. She usually watches The Price is Right during the daytime and still do.
15:21 That's Kevin Nealon. He's so funny. His 'Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend' episode was hilarious.
Hi Mary!🙂You are right Adam Sandler films can be hit or miss. The film with the remote control was "Click" (2006). Kevin Nealon was also a former member of SNL.
Every other Saturday for almost two years now me & my friends get together, order pizza, drink Jameson, play spades, & Watch Happy Gilmore & Borat back to back in that order. Some movies can be played as much as your favorite song... over & over.
Anytime I win a hand, my buddy Justin yells "Damn Levi (my name) bit my hand off, cut me down in my prime!" At this point he sounds just like Carl Weathers.
loved your reaction in the last movie, and i know im gonna love this one as well 💙
haha, love it! Great reaction! This movie is a big part of my life. My brothers and I will quote lines from this all the time..."just tap it in"....😆
I love how they start giving Happy the "Giant Cardboard Check" ...
Little Nicky where he plays one of the devil's 3 sons, very funny movie just straight up ridiculous 😂😂😂
I love how you brought up the show Freaks and Geeks. I loved that show back in the day and I wish it didn’t get cancelled at the time. Seth Rogan was in the show and it was his first role
You would absolutely love Mr Deeds and Big Daddy, as well as Anger Management. I know you've gotta lotta suggestions, but those three Sandler movies are amazing.
The Dad from Freaks and Geeks/the troll yelling "Jackass!" was always my favorite part of this movie, haha.
Joe Flaherty is a comedy legend. He taught John Belushi at Second City and was a cast member on one of the greatest sketch shows ever made, "SCTV" which introduced him along with his castmates John Candy, Catherine O'Hara, Eugene Levy, Rick Moranis, Andrea Martin, Harold Ramis and Dave Thomas, to the world. Also, in "Freaks and Geeks" the vampire costume he wears in the Halloween episode, is literally his character "Count Floyd" (a local horror tv show host) that he originated on SCTV. Well worth checking out.
ANGER MANAGEMENT is a priceless gem! Jack Nicholson just killed it in that one! You must watch that one Marry!
Dennis Dugan not only directed the movie he also played Doug Thompson the head of the golf tour and Virginia's boss.
Click is a very good movie and also has a life lesson in it the wedding singer has always been my favorite Adam Sandler movie
Seeing Mary laugh always puts a smile on my face 😊
BLENDED is a great lesser known film with Adam Sanderler and Drew Barrymore teaming up again, worth a watch.
Love this movie! One of my favorites growing up. You should check out "Tommy Boy" with Chris Farley. Another great SNL alum. We lost him too soon.
Your reactions are the best!😂
Other Adam Sandler comedies; The Waterboy, Anger Management, The Wedding Singer and a great recent one is Murder Mystery on Netflix.
This is my all time favorite movie. Wonderful memories of this time of my life and the movie never fails to make me smile and laugh
I just realized that IRS agent at the beginning is the brilliant Robert Smigel! Legendary writer for SNL and Conan, creator of the "TV Funhouse" cartoon shorts including the Ambiguously Gay Duo, and voice and puppeteer for Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. I saw this movie so many times and never even realized he was in it!
Brought back memories, nice!
This movie was so good love the video Mary stay motivated Dream big 1 mill on the way
This is the most quotable movie of all time for me and my family.
You really need to see The Wedding Singer and The Waterboy
Big Daddy is a definite must watch Adam Sandler movie.
@15:30 I think you ment before getting censored 😆
Great reaction! Just subbed!
probably the most iconic movie of my life, its genuinely a 10/10 for me
LITTLE NICKY!!!! He Brings Together Everyone He's Worked With And Play's, Lots N Lots A Fun!!!! 🥰🤩
'Apollo Creed' is also the one giving the Mandalorian his missions in season one of the Mandalorian :)
You should check out "The Longest Yard", Mary. LOVED your reaction, too!!! It lifted my spirit to hear you laughing like that. Made me laugh right anong with you.
