And now, this big boy is here in Brazil! In 2009, the Brazilian park Mirabilandia bought the attraction. The ride has been in storage at Mirabilandia since 2009. Mirabilandia planned to open it under the name of Sky Mountain at their new installations that are being built and was planned to be ready by 2021, but in November 2018 the park started negotiating the coaster with Hopi Hari, another brazilian park located in the city of Vinhedo. The negotiations between Mirabilandia and Hopi Hari did not go ahead, so the ride continues with Mirabilandia, and will be built in the park's new location, in the city of Paulista, probably in 2026 or even 2027. It's a long road to get there, but at last Sky Mountain will rise!
I've always had a sense of regret about not getting to ride this one as it was still under construction when I visited the park for the second time in 2001. I live about 2 hrs in between carowinds and kings dominion so Fury and Intimidator 305 keeps me pretty busy but I would have loved to ride this 1.
I'm thankful I got to ride it. Rode it 4 times in one day. We had a flash pass and literally skipped the hr long wait every time. We would wait like 5 minutes each time lol! It was actually very enjoyful but it stayed broken down on most park visits.
I got a chance to ride this ride a bunch of times. I worked out there during the construction of deja vu and acrophobia. Deja vu was never opened, was always plagued with mechanical issues. Either a poor design and faulty electronics. The higher ups were big mad!! As they should be. To me sixflags over ga always played it safe when it came to spending bucks on more rides. I hate they got ride of the viper.

This should not have had a lot of problems that led to it get torn down. The concept of the Giant Inverted Boomerang was insane

These rides didn’t last long six flags America lost theirs in 2007😢
I rode this a few times when it was not broken down (rare). The lifts up were gnarly.
