Jesse likes to provoke with his words. his meaning of “emotional” is more akin to unconsciousness thus observe your emotions and transcend the body by walking in the spirit not accept the body as the limitation. He causes one to reflect
But yes emotions like pride etc can be used for the kingdom we are created for eternity and our weakness glorifies God who works through us but without the biblical perspective from God you will work in vain

@@rprice33 I think God created anger, fear and suffering etc so that we infinite souls/beings could experience what we are Not. Because our essence is pure love/bliss, and I guess that becomes kind of boring after a while, so then we go to earth to have an extremely limited experience, that includes all these amazing emotions that control and distract us.

Emotions are the true testing ground. Emotions mature through experience, commitment and dependence. Reading and memorizing a book is easy. If you think you know something because you read a book, you're fooling yourself. In order to receive our heritage and talents, we must walk through the fire with God. If it were easy, what would be the point? You might feel strong and confident at first, but your knees will buckle when you take His hand. How does it feel to be a forgotten and abused child? What are those emotions? Get used to it. This is how the world will treat you because it is cheap and fake, full of lies, liars and shortcuts.
