I’m a young woman and I brought over 50 bags of cement to do a small walkway on my own. I brought in gravel, bags of cement, and all the materials to do the walkway. It’s over 10 years ago and the walkway is still without any flaws. I remember, when I was doing the last 10 minutes of my work, some men walked by my home and asked if they could help. That’s AFTER the job was completed.😮🙄
The gravel is mixed in the redi-mix concrete bag. You don't use rebar for slab on grade concrete, rebar is for structural grade. If anything wire fabric can be used in the center of the concrete slab and the wire fabric is for minimizing cracks.

To make a strong concrete you must use stones/gravel, iron (rebar) and sand (3 to 1).
