  • Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of Zoo Exhibit Tours!
Today I am going to be touring ZSL London Zoo's brand new exhibit: Giants Of The Galapagos. This immersive new exhibit opened on October 9th and is home to the zoo's 3 Galapagos Giant Tortoises named Dolly, Polly and Priscilla.

That’s so cool! I’ve never seen a tortoise exhibit that’s so big.

It looks awesome and I'm sure it will be even better when the plants grow in properly. It's always lovely to see zoos giving lots of love and attention to their reptiles, especially a species that's as endangered as Galapagos giant tortoises. Great video too as always.

I have visited LZ at least 12 times during 1989 till 2017,though,I like zoos to be roughly large in terms of surface min.20-22 ha for a good zoo,LZ has plenty of surface to outgrow onto Regent´s Park grounds and old park and the new, modern one with 15 more ha and focus on endangered species the WONDERS OF PAPUA would feature as you have guessed New Guinea´s endemics and an aviary a 10.000 sq mtrs,on 5 ha the range of biodiversity in this unique archipelago
