  • It has been a bit of a hectic week for us. we have started gathering the auntum veggies for use in winter, continued with our tomato and apple work, we silently watch as our work becomes less, the trees change colour and life slows down to the quite hum that we know as autumn.
of course we have to go for a lot of walks to see all those fall colours in every little corner of our woods. welcome to our life in autumn.

It’s so interesting that the outside world has degraded so much that most of us commenting on here would love to live in such a beautiful, peaceful place as this colony. I don’t have an issue with work, cleaning etc. I can wear dresses everyday but I like my own and that would be a personal issue for me to overcome. I love clothes. It’s a worldly thing but I see some of my clothing as a form of art and they’re modest. They don’t show my body. I think it would be a lovely way to live. I live in a very safe, beautiful area but don’t venture out too often because the world has gone crazy.

We knew a lady when I was a child who had a crab apple tree and used to make it, but after she passed away I could never find it again. Two summers ago I was at a market and I stopped by a booth with lots of homemade jellies. The Mennonite lady who was selling the jellies said she always brings crabapple jelly to each market day, but hardly anyone buys them. I bought 6 jars-she was so happy! She has me as a customer for life.

@@gisellewaldner9406 thank you so much for the response! It's not often you see youtubers that answer comments as much as you seem to. The way you all live is such an inspiration. What I wouldn't give to eat a few of those amazing meals with you all. ♥️
