Welcome to RFIDify, a new to the market RFID software for cashless payments geared towards events (but not limited to!)
RFIDify was started because when we wanted to use RFID cashless payments for our 2 day event, we were shocked at the options. One provider turned us down because we weren't big enough (2,500 participants each day!), another provider wanted to see our financial records! WOW
Aside from this, all other platforms lacked other features. Plus, why do we need top-up stations?! Why would you force your users to have to pre-load funds onto their wristband?! Talk about an annoyance and burden!
RFIDify is the first ever, FREE TO SIGN UP FOR RFID cashless payment software. We are a Stripe payment processor partner. Use RFIDify and save thousands upon thousands of dollars.
Not to mention, when getting into the RFID cashless payment space, RFIDify will reduce your risk, by eliminating your need to commit to a provider, since there is no sign up fee, monthly or other recurring fees! We are your least risk to enter the RFID cashless payment space.

I purchased the Soundavo WS66i. I have some questions about utilizing it to its fullest extent but have a bunch of questions and wondered if there was a way via email or other to correspond with you to run a few things by you?

Hi @TheKMZ1 , I own and operate a few water parks in India, and our system is much like an event. Before covid had hit, I got a similar cashless system made for my parks, and having a little bit of technical know-how myself, I decided on going with NFC as well. It adds to the scalability. You don't need expensive desktops or laptops or RFID readers for an additional counter if the crowd is too much. All you need is an operator and a 100 dollar phone that has NFC supported. just login with the credentials and a new food court/ costume/ box office counter is ready. I loved the system, but you need WiFi coverage. Maybe in the future, you can work on something similar and ad this as an option as well to your solution.
    Cheers!!!

Thanks for watching! I also have mobile phone apps as well where you can check event tickets in, and you can perform RFID cashless transaction charges.

Trying not to be "Debbie downer" here... But what is the advantage to the customer?

Which customer are you talking about? My customer would be an event, use a fair or race track or anything like that as an example. Their customer would be the end user which would be the event attendees coming to the event. So which customer are you talking about, and then I can explain more!

@@TheKMZ1 the end user. Me coming in to the event with my tap to pay with pin or fingerprint security or debit card with pin already set up with my bank.
What's the benefit to registering an RFID bracelet or necklace or trinket that is unsecured, or misplace-able - especially to a child not used to securing a payment method?

@@sagetx These are short term things for events, generally event wristbands are disposable, and when secured to the wrist, they have a security clasp that prevents it from being removed. It sounds crazy but yes when secured they will not come off. I watch a big dude try Of course you can buy them without that if you need, and in any form factor, but that is what most are doing.
Many events (mostly large ones now because it hasn't been affordable until now) are using RFID wristbands as tickets and access control into the event, as opposed to paper tickets. So you being the event attendee MIGHT not have the choice if you don't want to use it depending on how the event is run. Not everyone uses the tapless features on their phone.
The benefit for the event is a unified experience across everyone, better access control with them being your ticket, but most importantly there are studies showing increased spending with RFID cashless wristbands.
To be honest the only benefits for the event attendee are 1) a cool experience, 2) get through lines faster and pay faster 3) not having to deal with cash or your wallet, purse etc.
There are more benefits on the event side of things than there are for the attendee of the event, which is why this technology is being used by events.
Thanks for the questions! You are not a debbie downer, I will gladly answer any others!

@@TheKMZ1 OK. I think I get it. An event where all consessions, souvenirs, t shirts etc - that all the proceeds go to the venue. That makes for easy transactions. I was thinking it was used at say a state fair where vendors have their own booths set up. Also I was thinking carnival - like ride tickets. Seems better to have a pre paid amount, but I see easier to spend = spend more #benefit to the vendor
The ticket access is perfectly logical if it is secure on the arm and can't be transferred. But that's one time purchase.
I think i was thinking too small. Amusement park, resort, cruise, all day concert. OK I'm getting there.
Not for the local flea market / community garage sake.
Saying for the fences! Good luck!

@@sagetx Exactly, not really meant for a garage sale type of thing. In your example of a fair though, yes it could be used in that sense with the vendors. Let me explain, for example, fair goers might need a wristband to get into the fair, so the fair entity is the RFIDify account who is doing all registrations. Prior to the start of the fair, the fair would have requested all vendors who want to participate in RFID cashless wristbands to please join their event (and they would send out the event ID to join) The vendors have their own RFIDify accounts and they join the fair event. Now they are connected and can take payments from those wristbands that the fair is registering. So there can be cross account sharing like that. In doing it this way, the vendors get directly paid and the fair never has to deal with paying the vendors their share.
Other use cases that I've been asked about are digital bar tabs, so for example a bar could register a tag for a user and they can give the user's card back right away. The person at the bar would not need to worry or not if the person came back, because the bar could just finalize out all open tabs (open RFID tags) at the end of the night. Another use case is weddings, some people at weddings have open bars, so they could use this concept as well.
