biggest lackluster was Serena, he should have been a major obstacle later on, but he got taken out very easily to be honest D.
Agreed, I know they wanted to show us how powerful Acnologia was but God serena should've still done more
If they showed his full fight with the other wizard kings it wouldve at least make us understand his strength better and feel something when he was taken down by Acnologia.
Its because Mashima was given a set number of chapters to wrap up the story of Fairytail so he cut certain parts shorter. Is what I believe happened. (I also think he didn’t really know what to do with Acnologia as he removed him for a huge chunk of the arc)

I think it was a bit of a missed opportunity to have Invel as an Ice God Slayer.
they already did that twice plus its way more impressive to reach that level of power with just base ice magic
@@carterbrooks9833 There never was an Ice God Slayer and regardless we need more God Slayers. Plus it would've been thematic for an Ice God to fight an Ice Devil.

The truth is, the spriggan 12 were a total disappointment, they didn't do anything or defeat anyone

True I thiunk it would have been cool to see them has background characters from the start that where super powerful puppet masters influencing events. Would have forshadowed their threat and sold the idea of them being very powwerful from the start.
They beat a ton of people. Just didn't kill any of them. Not for lack of trying mind you.
