My father is having intermittent CSF leak through nose. MR Cisternography didn't showed any leak and CT Cisternography is risky for my father as he is taking dual-antiplatelets and CT cisternography required lumbar puncture for which we need to stop the antiplatelet medicine for a week which is highly risky.
Can we do HRCT or Contrast-CT of paranasal sinus area instead to locate the defect?
It could also be a leak from inner ear to eustachian tube to nose, so should we go for HRCT or CECT of innear ear and sinus area? Just confused whether HRCT or CECT will show better defect location?
