We love hosting folks for balloon fiesta, we love living in this fair , wonderful city . Love to all of you , Hugs, Mother Bosque Garden in 87107, So Fun !
I've enjoyed watching your Vegas videos, SURPRISED to see this video of the 2 of you in Albuquerque! My home for 60 years, no place like the Land of Enchantment ❤️.
As a New Mexico resident, I love seeing people travel to our beautiful state! This year the balloon fiesta was awesome, so glad yall got to experience it 😊
Born and raised in NM and I 💯 think this is definitely the best reason to visit. There is nothing like driving to work and the sky lit up with hundreds of balloons or even better, one landing in front of your house. Not to mention NM has the best chili aka breakfast burritos 😉 So glad you covered this event 💜 and a huge congrats on hitting 30k. Well deserved!! 🎉
Thanks so much! We love Green Chile and have some great spots for it at home, I could’ve used a little more chile on our burrito but loved the pork inside!
Hey you two, wanted to let you know that I adored this video. Obv. the experience was amazing for you both, SO lovely to see Rachel’s unedited reaction, and so happy you crossed off a bucket list and you took us along. Many thanks!
So awesome J&R! I have a pretty significant fear of heights so I’ll have to live this experience through the two of you. The Balloon Fiesta is on my bucket list even though I don’t want to fly🎉❤
Thanks guys! Definitely something you should try to make one of these years. Seems like luck was on our side to have good weather for our short time in ABQ
AMAZING! Hey Josh and Rachel so nice to see you doing something different than the casinos in Vegas. You guys all seem to pick really extravagant once in a lifetime things to do. It must’ve been so exhilarating to be up in the balloon and seeing the whole of Albuquerque. I always enjoy the food that you have when you’re on vacation.❤
Amazing! Glad to see y’all were a go for the hot air ride & fulfilled a bucket list wish. We did our first in Aspen, CO, on a sunny, cold winter day. The Albuquerque festival is so cool to see all the different shapes, colored balloons floating in the air.
It truly is something everyone should go to once. I lived there for 20 years and they would float right over my dads house. Yes the 3 am is something I’ll never forget but we did want to get front row parking since my parents were older. They land all over town and it’s so fun to chase them around. So even if you don’t want to deal with the crowd and costs there are still opportunities all over town. They will land in parks, on streets, in parking lots, and any open field they can find to safely land. Glad you got to go.
Hey guys! So they started in 1972 with 13 and now over 500 balloons participate…I guess their success has really ballooned 😂. Ok that wasn’t one of my best jokes lol . Seriously what a cool experience. I’ve been up in one but it stayed stationary or tethered. You two are adventurous so was expecting you both to bungee jump from your balloon 🎈. Looks like an amazing time 😎😎😎
Thanks for taking me along, Josh & Rachael….I actually started weeping a bit when you were flying up there with the other balloons just because it’s so beautifuland special. What a once-in-a-lifetime experience! 🎉
Thanks for sharing this unique experience. I dislike heights & traffic so not something on my bucket list...but this was very fun to watch & so happy that you both had a blast.
Some people just gotta be in love up in the sky: be it in a helicopter, treehouse or a balloon! It looks so colorful and peaceful, and I'm glad we could go along!
Used to live there for several years and always took one of the balloon rides. It’s so quiet up there you could talk to somebody 100 yards away like they were standing next to you awesome place.
Thanks for sharing and the memories. We attended in our motorhome one year parked with the windshield facing the grounds. Amazing spectacle indeed! The food selections are amazing and frankly more tasty the CFD. (sorry). The variety of events was also surprising. Thanks for sharing!
Totally agree, there is a lot more selection at the Balloon Fiesta, but we did see some of the same vendors surprisingly. The nice thing about the Fiesta is they seem to have a lot more local favorites as well, and unique to the area foods rather than just standard fair food.
Haven't seen many balloon videos before( other than my balloon animal pages I subscribed too 😂) no but seriously great for you guys and I was really awesome!
We’ve been to the Balloon fiesta 4 times, absolutely the best … we’ve gotten there as early as 3am , the attendees are super friendly and will ask you to pitch in and help during the launches definite bucket list item
We just did a hot air balloon over Lake Tahoe a couple of a weeks back and felt the same as you about it. Just so peaceful and incredible at the same time. This looked so awesome with the views of the other balloons 🤩
Using the bus shuttle I believe is the best way to get there. They have their own route and you're dropped off right at the entrance. Been using their shuttles for 20+ years. Glad you all were able to experience this! Been going most of my life, missed a few, including this year. Hope to get back there next year. It's so beautiful and majestic in the mornings at mass ascension.
we went last year it was a great experience.we didn't do the gondola club or the balloon ride but we still really enjoyed the fiesta.we parked at the mall and had busses to bring you to and from the balloon field but it had to be booked ahead on line .
Have been in a balloon in Aspen CO where we landed in a field of sage! Never been to this one! Christmas chili all the way!! Cheers! Gloria in far far West Texas!!
My dad worked the fiesta when I was little, so I'm done. I'm glad you both had such a great time in Albuquerque. I know you didn't need any suggestions but for next time, I suggest the Carne Adovada deep fried turnover at Mary & Tito's on 4th st. Best red and green in my opinion. El Bruno (North 4th st) for the chile con queso dip and fried flour tortilla chips. Also (Not NM cuisine) Franks chicken and waffles (southern comfort food) on Washington close to Zuni. We always enjoy your stuff. Thanks for coming to NM!
That looked so fun. I’ve always wanted to ride in a balloon until I saw Joe Dirt miss out on that HEMI because of the balloon. Now I have serious FOMO-OAH. (On a HEMI). Great seeing all the cool food options. Love some green chili…. 🥃🥃
Hey, thank you for the video! It looked absolutely beautiful there! 😍 but would like to ask, can I go there in April or all year round or just in October where the festival is held every year? Thank you so much 😊
We are big fans of Green Chile, probably because it is something we see in the Denver/Front Range area. The red had a very distinct flavor but green just works for us more. The red chile that we had was very reminiscent of a red enchilada sauce which is good but not our favorite style.
We love hosting folks for balloon fiesta, we love living in this fair , wonderful city . Love to all of you , Hugs, Mother Bosque Garden in 87107, So Fun !
Awesome!
Thanks for the great promotion of our little city. So glad you got to experience Duran’s.
Our pleasure!
Stunning!!! Proud Burqueno here! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you ☺️
The balloon rides show how beautiful it can be .can’t get no better than this ,it looks so amazing and everything look like picture on the wall.
Thanks Brian

It’s well worth the wait! 🤩 thanks for watching!

We both are a bit hesitant on heights and this was quite an experience!
Definitely check it out, even without the flying - so worth it!!
I was there on Friday, most amazing and fun experience 😊🎈🎈🎈
So cool!
Great coverage, guys! Looked like a fun event for sure. Hope we can check it out next year!
Thanks guys! Definitely something you should try to make one of these years. Seems like luck was on our side to have good weather for our short time in ABQ
Wow that looked absolutely incredible. I’ve wanted to go in a hot air balloon for years, I definitely need to make it happen.
So worth it

So fuggin cool lol, awesome you chose to do this. Thanks for sharing and sharing your pr results.

Now that’s a Dad Joke right there 🤣
Is this … the only event that gather so many people on Earth before SUNRISE !!! I Really Love It 🤗😻☘️✨🌞🌈🫧
Quite possibly! It was amazing 🤩
Wow you got some excellent footage! So beautiful! I’m not afraid of heights but totally afraid of being on a hot air balloon. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much! You can do it!
I really loved this one!
Thank you, us too
You guys driving and trying to drink your drinks! Love it, so funny. Great video
Haha we were trying to recreate our Ensenada scene on the booze bus
@@JoshRachael I know! Hilarious 😂
Thanks for taking me along, Josh & Rachael….I actually started weeping a bit when you were flying up there with the other balloons just because it’s so beautifuland special. What a once-in-a-lifetime experience! 🎉
Thank you! ☺️ we feel the same way during that part. Some scenes we feel we just need to let the beauty of our surrounding roll, this was one of those
Awesome trip! Air balloons, marathon and good eats. Would love to check out that air balloon festival one day
You should!
Thanks for sharing this unique experience. I dislike heights & traffic so not something on my bucket list...but this was very fun to watch & so happy that you both had a blast.

Nicely videoed and narrated. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Thanks for watching!

Right?!? It’s crazy
Incredible!
It was one amazing experience!
Very cool! Can’t wait to visit my nephew in ABQ. Will definitely check out Central Grill
Durans was a cool experience as well!
This was awesome
Thanks so much, we loved our experience and so happy to share it
When you order, both RED and Green Chiles , on your meal, you say , "I'll have Christmas "
We did call it that the second time around!
What an amazing experience!!
It was!

That balloon ride looked like a blast!!! Unfortunately, that prime rib looked pretty sad. Glad you got to try Duran's.
Haha yea the food at the Gondola club was not quite what we were looking for
Looks like an amazing time! You should do a cheese pull compilation at some point. Those cheese curds looked fantastic!
Great idea!!
Haven't seen many balloon videos before( other than my balloon animal pages I subscribed too 😂) no but seriously great for you guys and I was really awesome!
🤣
Hot air balloon was a trip with my big sis that I will never forget. Miss her so much, she gave me my love for travel
So glad you have fond memories of her and that she led you to loving travel

Thank you for the dose of NM 💜 Next time you go to ABQ definitely try El Pinto (near the BF park) and our most favorite breakfast spot… Golden Pride!
Love good food recommendations

@@JoshRachael 15 to 20 min. both ways very well organized

Sounds great
Welcome to Albuquerque! I hope you had fun. I usually watch your vegas videos. We go to vegas all the time 1 hour flight from Abq.
Awesome! Thank you!
Glad you all made it out here and hope you make it back! Would love to get together!
I hope so too!
I was just in Albuquerque and had to leave before the Balloon Fiesta so I barely missed it. Otherwise I would have been there.

Hey, thank you for the video! It looked absolutely beautiful there! 😍 but would like to ask, can I go there in April or all year round or just in October where the festival is held every year? Thank you so much 😊
It’s likely beautiful all year round, but the balloon fiesta is only held in October!
Thanks for watching!
@ ah I see! Wow, thank you so much for replying and the information 🙏
Which was better - this balloon festival & ride or the skydiving that you did a year or two ago?
Such a hard decision. Skydiving was an insane rush of adrenaline and excitement whereas this was so peaceful. Can’t pick just one
Too bad you didnt get to experience the full balloon glow but still got the essence great video
I know! It was looking like they might not do any balloons during our night experience, that would have been very disappointing.
I've been skydiving but I think I would be more nervous in a hot air balloon! Were you nervous at all?
I said this before going up because there is so little time to think about it with skydiving but tons of time floating
If you set a “marker” out on your property and a balloon lands on it, you get entered in a contest for a great prize
That’s awesome!
Braver than me. Im not getting in a wicker basket...
Seemed pretty stable 🤣
@@JoshRachael I would fall through the basket.
Which chili was the best for you guys? Red or Green? Why?
We are big fans of Green Chile, probably because it is something we see in the Denver/Front Range area. The red had a very distinct flavor but green just works for us more. The red chile that we had was very reminiscent of a red enchilada sauce which is good but not our favorite style.
