Thing is about those songs, atleast for True Love Waits, Thom's been doing live performances and different versions from 1995 all the way to its official album release (2016) and doesn't seem to have completely ditched it. Montee only appeared on the Minidiscs and that's it, no live performances or mentions (that I know of, I hope you prove me wrong, I'd love to have hope)@@modifiedb0y
@@matthewsaul3533 they could've kept it as a simple but nice song in a special release or something. The band itself has never ever mentioned this song ever in an interview from what I know.
I have a feeling this is from the sessions with PJ Harvey. Sounds a lot like, "This Mess We're In" off her album "Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea" which came roughly around the Kid A sessions were going on. They could've made an attempt with that vibe and didn't feel like it worked with Kid A. (Which I can assure you, probably wouldn't but then again, I Might Be Wrong.)
Exactly what I was thinking! This song is drenched in the 90s. Radiohead between the bends and ok computer. I like it! Nostalgic over a totally unfinished unreleased demon
No, Radiohead is far from done forever, in fact they're getting back together early this year. Thom and Johnny started a side project called The Smile to get the creativity out of them when they were feeling locked in due to COVID 19 and cause Phil and Ed were both pursing their own projects, but they will indeed be getting back together again this year. It's going to be a good time to be a Radiohead fan.
Strangely enough though, I am right now listening to this Song for the fifth time in a row. This "not being finished"-status of the song is somehow beautiful.
Absolutely not crap. Don't understand how a fan of this band could hear this hidden gem and think it's crap. The kind of time machine real fans hoped existed.

I believe this is rough demo in which he has an idea for a melody but no lyrics written. It's a fairly common way to construct a song.

The warmest and smoothing song of Radiohead. I wish that they release this song!

Of course. This needs to be on RUclips. It's one of their best songs.
This kinda reminds me of Dido. The same nostalgic 2000's feeling like everything is gray.
One day they better release all of these gems theyve kept secret 😭
I know they got some bangers locked up in their stash 😡😅🤭
yay another radiohead song to cry to
I hear a lot of Slowdive in this
I definitely hear some similarities with the reverb
Why tf would they ditch this masterpiece 😭
It's a real tragedy. Luckily it's still preserved tho.
Perhaps because as pleasant as it is, it pales in comparison to most of the songs they've released

Maybe a demo. Simple but has a mesmerizing quality and transports you back to the nice part of the 90's.
I love how this singing allows the listener to fill in the words and hear what it in a way that is totally unique to the listener.

where this is from?
Well from what I found it came from a OK Computer Session. Mainly Minidiscs #10. That's all I know about the song.
This is Thom Yorke singing in his sleep.
Beautiful :,)
Thank you so much for uploading. Do you know the lyrics of this song? I couldn't find it anywhere :(

Get da fuq outta here lol. It sounds nothing like that.

Guys, it's obviously just a sketch of a song. That being said, I can't stop crying from the lyrics.
thom has a giant face and phil has a tiny face
When thom said mmhmmhammhpamm, i felt that in my soul
Why wasn't this in OKNOTOK?
I have no clue. Even the copyright puts the song under OKNOTOK. Which is why this song needs to be preserved
thats from the minidiscs
@@viniesfera I'm aware. I'm just wondering why Radiohead didn't remaster this or release it on OKNOTOK like they did with I Promise or Man of War
