First time I heard this song was when I was traveling back home after being gone from my family and church for 22 days working in West Texas. I played it all the trip home and cried tears for Ronnie's hurt from losing Kenny. This song is a tribute to Kenny Hinson. Ronnie your family singing brought many tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. No one made me feel lonesome for my heavenly home than the Hinson's family singing. Save a some for me up there!

Ronnie has gone on with ministry, writing and singing. But, he had great love for his brothers. Written just after Kenny's death. Even though we are Christians, we still grieve for our loved ones that passed on to glory. They are present with the Lord. There are scriptures that attest to that. Kenny's suffering from kidney cancer is gone, healthy and singing again. He sang on the Gaither video and could barely stand, Howard and Vestal both overcome and the look on his brothers and sister faces. He had been told nothing more could be done. Kenny passed 29 years ago as of 2024 Ronnie wrote this in the grief fresh from the death. Larry too, has now passed. Bless you Ronnie. Won't it be a "Hallelujah Meeting". See The Gaither version and 1988 version Of Kenny singing The Lighthouse written by Ronnie Hinson. Bless you my brother- in- Christ, Ronnie Hinson.

This is the saddest song. It is also a happy song to know we will see our loved ones again. I love this song. We all have lost someone we loved and it hurts .God will wake us through it if we let Him. Take our rest in God's Arms for better days ahead with no sickness no sorrows no heartaches no tears will flow in the place we call Heaven when we take our rest in God's arms we fear no evil or shadow of death cause God is carrying us through all our sorrows we have here on earth. Blessed is our God to love us when we are not worthy of His love at all. We sin everyday against our Lord's rules in the 10 commandments we don't follow them these days some say they don't apply. Let me tell you they apply today just as they applied then when God wrote them on the stone tablets for Moses to give to God's people. We need to repent our sins so we will see our loved ones in heaven when God calls us home to heaven. Are you worthy to go see God face to face? I know I have lots of work to do before He calls me home or I will miss seeing Him on His throne. Are you ready if not you better get ready cause Jesus is coming to get his children are you one of them? Don't believe the nay Sayers they have been saying Jesus isn't God for Years now. But they don't know God is why they say that. If you know God you know God is with us everyday. Where we are God is also. He see what we do and knows what we say every word we say He knows before it comes out of your mouth God knows. I pray I could take a lot back of what I said in my life time but we can't take it back. God Can't Forgive us our sins if we humble ourselves and ask God to forgive us our trust passes that we did. Nobody else can ask God to forgive your sins for you. Only you can ask God to forgive you. Have you done that? If not take time now to do that. God is waiting for you to ask him.
