I've owned a Bronze Diver GMT & sold it soon after realising the metal was too soft to be truly robust. I have two 1200HV coated Titanium G2 watches, several 316L Steel & a couple of different karat solid gold for dress. If I win I'll buy my grail watch! A Seiko Spring Drive .
The biggest advantage of the good old stainless steel for us consumers, when they get all scratch up, you can easily have them polish. It will be too costly on PVD or DLC cause they have to repaint. Precious metals are scratch magnets, and I'm pretty sure you won't want to polish them too often.
you could have shown a vintage watch in steel to showcase future conditions of steel watches. an old bronze watch especially looks quite different than a new one. but steel can also age somewhat.
Steel is best for the Watches worn often, Gold is best on Dresswatches and those for special Occasions. I'd love to buy my Dreamwatch, a Datejust 41 with the Voucher 😍
Where's the details about the $10,000 giveaway? I would like to sing in the giveaway.... My marriage will be next year and it will be the best present for me the amazing Baum Et Mercier Clifton baumatic moonphase in rose gold!!!!!
I love titanium: so light on the wrist and very nice darker grey color compare to steel. 👍
Also love bronze for the vintage touch.

Ive learned to appreciate SS and coated titanium. Bare titanium is just not done for me, it'll get scratched up within the first hours...
Carbon is my favorite 🤩
Steel is a great material for most.
Would avoid anything in bronze.
Like titanium too.
Occasionally gold on some vintage watches can be nice.

I like Gold. The standard yellow Gold.
Yet if i have the voucher, I will buy a Rolex Sea-Dweller MK2
What is Silver like? I believe it is used on one of the BB58s.
Steel is a good deal, Gold is too old, Titanium is too light, Platinum is not my kind, I'll go for the Rolex steel Chrono24 please 😉

Boy I do love steel, I have never been able to afford a real luxury watch, I would love a Snoopy speed master or a reverso
You can find steel everywhere. Especially in our nerves until we know the winners 😀
