  • Handguard for the 308 Keltec RFB. It fits both the 18 and 24 inch models.
    ** As of this video Lucky Irishman is working on a modification for the [[Gen 1]] Gasblock due to the radius section preventing one of the parts from fitting correctly.**

    For gen 2 rifles notching about an eighth inch off the back of the rail will allow you to remove your charging handle when the upper receiver is removed. If the rifle is assembled, then the bolt carrier will bottom out before the charging handle would have clearance to be removed much like the original hand guard.

    The only problem I've had with the lucky Irishman hand guard is the ejection shoot falls out of the gas block where the factory hand guard held it in place. I wrapped up the ejection shoot with electrical tape till I find a permanent solution

    • @Odinforever2000
      @Odinforever2000  3 года назад

      The ejection chute is a friction fit to the gas block in the front and there's a tab in the back it should be attached to on the receiver.
      It shouldn't be moving at all and would be a problem even with the original handgaurd.

    Do you find that it interferes with throwing the safety from Fire to Safe? Looks like there's enough of a gap there, but still looks like it gets in the way a little. Could probably put a little bevel on it with a grinder.
