With the oil field slow down alot of trailer mounted pumps will be cheap soon....many can move 120 bbl a min.....now that is in a 8" or bigger line...and a few hundred yards up hill they used to have a "booster pump" every mile or so and 3 lines when we were a long way from the water spot...but for what most people want you can get about 100 psi out of them on a 4 inch line for quite a way ....they are quite a bit larger than the PTO pump you have but that little thing was moving some water now...I have watched you channel for a long time.....your info is spot on...no BS or sales scams just good decent real world info...when I was on the drilling side if the oil field we pumped our water from near by ponds we had a small duplex pump and 2" poly pipe we found all the weak spots every time we had to pump up hill lol that stuff lasted a long time and fixing a break was easy...my brother drilled water Wells also where we live .5 to .25 gpm is a decent well some are up to 15 to 20 gpm but I am amazed how many people will turn their nose up at a 1 gpm or less well in a month that is a lot of water when there is not any other around....I wish we had the 40 foot was table and 10gpm or better stuff here but we don't...but what is funny the water is normal about 40-60 feet down....and hard to find...but if you have a storm shelter it will fill w water cracks me up one of my brothers homes has a cistern (I can't spell tonight) it is about 3000 gal we pumped it dry and a week later it was full again....his water well in his back yard is about 50 feet deep and makes about 1.3 gpm now he used it all summer for his grass...he decided that was not a good idea after he had to mow in 110 degree heat lol
I would like to say thank you for all that you do with posting these videos, I don't get a chance to comment that often. I just wanted you to know that I learn a lot and absolutely enjoy watching.
Was interested in a pump like this to fill ponds and irrigate around the homestead. Contacted closest dealer to me....the pump in this video is a $4,189 pump plus shipping! Seems there may be a more economical way to do what I need....🤔
Good video... I'm looking for something like that to pump out of the river to help control fires as I burn my underbrush. How high can it lift on the suction hose and do you think if I reduced down to a 1.5 inch hose I could push out 200 feet?
Wow that looks awsome. Im having lots of problems watering my sugar cane feilds. How much gas do i need on the tructer to let it run 10 hours every 20 days
That was great....I think our little VFD could look into getting one of those pumps. Could be very handy with the mobility and not having every truck with it's own self contained pump.
You should think of putting a T after the output with valves on. Then you can have aaan open return/pressure/flowregulator while topping up tank without the need to standby rpm regulator. Also helps streighttning out kinks in the fillhose. Or as a dual hose output.
Im not up to speed on whats available but the large AG irrigation wells are run with 50hp electric motors on top of them Or a stationary engine connected like a pto. try contacting a AG irrigation company.
It is the water that will be used for compost tea operation for a duck impoundment. Customer wanted a fast way to fill his water tank so he can make his batches of tea quickly.
Norfolkc Yeah good idea. I have a foot valve on my 1 inch gas powered harbor freight pump as well as my 2 inch Harbor freight pump and I don’t have to prime it every time.
Your water co9lor is always beautiful E775! lol Yessir... a big pump can really crank! I never had a 3"... but I have a 2 inch I built myself. that thing moved some serious water! I still have it... but haven't needed it with the ram pump. ruclips.net/video/5XUCT0OpuLk/видео.html Someday soon I want to give it an overhaul and drag it back out. I even had an electric clutch on it with pressure cut-outs for broken irrigation lines. Always love your videos!
Omg! Never talk about green line hoses or fittings around an Alexa unit or any of it’s copies. It seriously glitches the system and you will hear about almost daily for at least a year. Be warned.
It would drive me nuts to see people run them over at work....every time it caused them and if we beat them back round the liner always seems to rip free and suck in....I feel your pain!! They were not cheap at all..

Good idea would be great for forest fires etc. :)
I'm going to start calling you "Aqua Man". Your experiences with water and all related gear is amazing.

Thank you Scott! I am glad .
I really like those crimp rings.
good pump there.. what is the total dynamic head. how far can it deliver water?
Wow that thing moves a lot of water fast!
nice job.... nice set up . . . .

You may want to look at getting a quick hitch for you'r 3- point.. If you change in implements quite often.
Nice pump !
Gotta love a job where You stand around with a cup of coffee in your hand
You look like a old Navy CPO
Wut?
@@engineer775 watching You drinking something in the black Mug from the tractor when PTO pump is working at the pond filling the cistern
That was great....I think our little VFD could look into getting one of those pumps. Could be very handy with the mobility and not having every truck with it's own self contained pump.
Do you have 6inch pump capable of lifting water to 40m using a small tractor 60hp?
If you want to irrigate by a water canon for a long range more than 200 meter. How much hp or gpm you need ???
Absolutely love this channel! Thank you for all the work that you do

Moving some water in a hurry. Do they make a PTO pump that can be used to lift out of a deep well?
I have never seen one. It would have to be connected to a Jet pump type of head. You might be able to pump from about 120 feet.
Im not up to speed on whats available but the large AG irrigation wells are run with 50hp electric motors on top of them Or a stationary engine connected like a pto. try contacting a AG irrigation company.
No you can not lift more than 26 feet with this type of pump
Finally a pump that can water cool the new Intel 9900K.
Nice
Wondering what the purpose of pumping that pond water into that holding tank?
It is the water that will be used for compost tea operation for a duck impoundment. Customer wanted a fast way to fill his water tank so he can make his batches of tea quickly.
No concerns about plastic leaching?
F I noticed that the weight that I have been losing you seem to be “catching”!! Not trying to be mean, love your channel.
Why no foot valve on the suction for keeping prime if the tractor stops for some reason you do not loose suction
Norfolkc Yeah good idea. I have a foot valve on my 1 inch gas powered harbor freight pump as well as my 2 inch Harbor freight pump and I don’t have to prime it every time.
It’s normal to fit one
Handy gadget.
Gotta shorten the PTO a bit more.
houston we may have a problem
Nice pump, but considering that you can buy an equivalent pump powered by a 5-10hp engine (included) for $500-$900, the $4000 price tag is ludicrous.

What is PTO
Power take off. It is a small shaft at the back of a farm tractor to power implements and tools with the Tractor’s engine.
John Smith thank you

Don't run over your suction hose. Someone drove over my 6" hose and that thing is expensive.
