I love these dnd journal videos!!! A lot of other creators use more practical journals with primarily stats and notes, which is fine of course, but I really really love how immersive an aesthetics-first dnd journal like this is! Really inspires me to work on my own

(I love all of your videos but this series has a special place in my lore hungry heart) it’s really cool how much you’ve grown with respect to the architecture drawings (even just in comfort level!) the reveal was soooooooo cool btw! I love the ability page with the light!
I SO wish I had taken a picture of the set up I had while filming the "underwater" sequence-- it was a tower of carefully balanced objects to hold up a tray of water, but I'm so glad you liked it, I was pretty happy with the lighting as well, it was worth the chaos :))

Sickness our favorite. I got slammed with silmilarlly mysterious cold a few weeks back, lasted a whole week and was not great landing on my spring break.
Thanks for listening in to my stories lol! Also for sure yeah I have a couple friends who also got sick during their school breaks as well which sucks, whatever has been going around has been such a menace too.
The end of your video was incredible immersive, I could feel your character and the moments that she wrote down in the journal. Your architectural drawings are wonderful, especially teh two pages drawing, the combination of watercolor and black lines really highlights the drawing let it alive. And the page about the water aboleth I really like the design, felt like a bestiary. By the way, I started my character journal too, in the moment I have about 6,5 pages done and I challenged myself to write all in english (I'm learning english, so sorry if write something wrong).

I'm getting back to comments so late because of the move but boy howdy do I have news about the cold (it did go away, but also I managed to get myself sick again which is just Super Cool TM)
I was super nervous about ironing the paper, but I figured as long as it was super super low heat and only for a short time, it would be okay and turns out it works pretty good!!
I'm so glad others enjoy hearing about my D&D adventures as much as I love hearing about theirs. The idea to impersonate a dead man is... concerning but also hilarious, it's very on brand D&D Shenanigans.

Honestly it does make sense that the paper should be fine since ironing synthetic fabric on low heat works as well. Maybe I get to try it some time XD
Oh yes and I love that my first game has this oh so typical story in it (I did have a "face palm dm moment" during the game tho).
Ohh I'm looking forward to them! I've always been fond of performance and art and performance art! Not only is it fun to watch but also to imagine something interacting with their creation just brings me a lot of joy!
