Whew glad to see you back. You can post about anything you know; doesn't have to be a/v related.

i hate when people mount their tv above fireplaces, like man you're scared about burn in but not about your tv burning as a whole wtf
Unless you have a stupid house with stupid metal studs that have stupid electrical going down halfway down the stud, making it very hard for a tool to spot live wires. You basically have to rip out a good chunk of drywall and then ensure you're not hitting electrical, assuming there's any in there, because the electrician did a number on this house.
Oh wow, super odd for a house to use metal studs like that. Must have been a commercial property converted to residential or a very very odd builder.
@@JonahMatthes Pulte Homes built the house. Over 140 houses in the subdivision. Have seen metal studs b4 this house, but super rare. Hate it, and hate Pulte by proxy.
If we move, new house requirements will be *1)* Gigabit fiber & *2)* Wooden studs.
About 1.5 yrs ago, I bought a renewed Samsung HW-Q950A in strong part from your review _(plus several others)._ Linus Tech Tips (LTT) has a video out about the Sony HT-A9, wiring them up via a new receiver vs wireless.
Did you ever experience wireless issues? These new systems seem like an easier way to build a home theater setup now vs a few years ago, with similar ease vs a soundbar. I choose the soundbar because I didn't want to spend the time to be knowledgeable enough.
The LTT video > ruclips.net/video/yPh_SSTK4QA/видео.html. I'm interested to see what your general take is regarding companies making it easier to build your own home theater using a receiver / newer home theater kits.
I actually watched this entire video yesterday! To answer your 1st question, no, I haven't experienced a ton of wireless interference issues with these systems. I have had them happen before, but they've never been continuous.
I think it depends on the person and their priorities, especially with how cheap some of these soundbar systems are becoming. If you have the money and are willing to spend the time/energy to setup a traditional system, then people typically go towards that. However, most consumers nowadays are searching for a system that works great and is relatively simple to setup and use.
