I notice you leave Up and Down. (I mainly need one that allows me to lower the TV so I'm not looking upward.) So do I need to look for a SIX axis mount in that case?
What I do fomo about the five one that was a couple years back but for the weight I'll make sure it can hold triple my TV weight so I don't have no problem
If you're going to use an impact.. Be careful not to drive it in all the way. You're not working on a car.. If you strip out the stud you'll ruin it's holding power. Always finish it by hand, or just take the minute it takes to so the whole thing by hand.
I would have said full rotation landscape to portrait would be full motion. In our conference room we have struggled to find this and there's only a few with this feature.
I have a Sony 85" and the bracket location is no where close to being centered, unfortunately for me. I replace my previous 80" TV, which was centered but because of the crazy low on the TV Sony location, my new Sony is about 15" higher (center-to-center) than the previous TV, so now I have more my wall mount, which is a real pain. Too bad they don't have a standard location.
how to pick a Samsung 65 in Wall Mount? I'm moving to a much smaller apt from where I live now so I want to mount my tv because I''ll need every space every space I can get. So what you suggest? Also I'm moving into APT that has metal and concrete bldg. What's your best suggestion for mounts, I dont want something that extends from wall too far. But I also don't want to have any trouble with bright lights and viewing angles either. In addition my mom after dying from Covid I took her old 43 in lg while I was waiting to replace my old lg 50 inch that I loved but fuse went after 10 yrs of ownership. So what do you suggest there too? thx.
Hey Fomo, funny thing..I'm actually in the market for an impact driver...probably don't really need it but hey why not. I recently installed an outdoor antenna for local channels.I was going to go with the Dewalt since it's like $60 off with the bag and charger...That Makita though looks smooth and sounds awesome..lol..you think the 13 or lower models from the 19 will perform similar to the 19 that have? don't want Fomo on the impact!
@@cadefoster9279 Actually 90% or so sold on the Milwaukee M18 Surge impact driver. that and the M18 Hammer drill. a lot of deals to chose from now. hearing the surge impact is a lot more quiet than regular impacts.
To the only man I trust, win it comes to TV's, that is, is it worth getting a TCL R646, just for Madden 23,and MLB, the slow, don't play nothing else, can't get a straight answer from Sony ea, sports, is for a fact either one of them games in 120 refresh rate or does this TCL 55 s21 HDR 4K TV I got will it look the same or is the r646 going to be better, 600,bucks for it, 💯👍
I already have a full motion mount that had a 55 in tv on it. I just got a new 65 inch the other day but the new tv has its drilled holes further apart than the bracket provides. Is there somewhere I could just get the bracket or would I need to just get an entirely new mounting system?
Nice. People are so damn cheap. $300 bucks to mount a TV that will likely be up for many years and they want to be cheap supporting one of their largest purchases lol
I went with Starburst fluid motion from Costco for $105 on sale. I've owned about a 9 over the last 17 years. I used it on my 85" Sony 2 years ago, It's the best one I've owned so far, extremely smooth motion. Looks like the same design as the Pipishell. I just bought another one for my bedroom for the U8H. Installing lags, I like to use the impact driver down to about 1/2" from the wall, then ratchet it home. If you snap the head of the lag off, you will not be happy, I've been there. Thanks for the tips Fomo.
Does this one have the ability to slide horizontally a lot? I’ve got 16” centers for my studs but I need the tv to be in a very very specific spot on the wall which may not be very “stud friendly” if you know what i mean?
Idk if you resopond but i nedd your help what tv mount woud fit the 88 inch 8k tv from lg even tho u have yet to review it it dose come off the imcuded table and its posble
Are vertical mounts not ideal? Seems like theyre not very mainstream popular as the Full motion mounts. Just got an s90c and was thinking to getting a vertical mount because using my s90c as a daily driver for work/browsing/gaming is sort of too close. I sort of wish i got the 55 inch instead of 65 but then the deal on the 65 was too hard to pass up lol. So in the short time i was thinking of using my 27 inch as a daily driver with the s90c mounted to go up and down when I want to use it for gaming, watching movies, or browse. EDIT: I bought the echogear maxmotion and unfortunately I dont think it shifts left and right (4th axis mentioned). I saw this video after the fact of buying it and wish I had bought the 1 recommended here from Pipishell. Although, that mount is currently unavailable now.
I am looking to get full motion wall mount for my S95B, the mounting holes on back of the TV are not in the center of the ATV but lower so can I mount the wall mount center of the wall or must I raise it up to accommodate the lower holes on the back of this Samsung TV? TIA
I got the PIXF2. Now to get the TV. I was gonna go for the 65” U8H but Best Buy sold out before I could snag it. Now I might look for an OLED, not sure.
FOMO - Do you have any recommendations for a mount that extends 30+in and rotates 90 deg? We are trying to fit a larger TV into a wall cutout designed for smaller TVs. Circa mid 90s house....
I am shocked that he didn’t address this, as he claims to know all about mounts. I bought a MantleMount, which allows movement in the vertical direction.
It probably means it will support 16/18/and 24 inch on center. I got a Mounting Dreams from Amazon that supports all the stud spacings and up to 132lb. It holds my 75 Z9K just fine except it wants to tilt forward a bit due to the weight. I could probably replace the tilt screws with something stronger but it locked and works. I think I paid about 85 bucks 2 years ago but it's up to 109 now. I'm very happy with it and similar to the one FOMO likes.
Nice vid. Thx for going oustide the box and into wall mounts. Is there any chance you might educate us on using sound bars with the better TVs like Sony A80J, etc?
Besides wall mounting being a pain, I like to use the stands that come on the tv. It gives it character, otherwise it’s just a non-descript rectangle hanging on your wall.
My learned lesson, always get one that puts a bracket on the back of the TV that allows you to lift and hang the TV onto the wall mount.
I notice you leave Up and Down. (I mainly need one that allows me to lower the TV so I'm not looking upward.) So do I need to look for a SIX axis mount in that case?
What mount do you recommend for the 138 pound TCL 98" R754 with 400mm x 850mm vesa pattern?
This mount is no longer available. Do you have another suggestion for an extended reach mount?
Nice video. I always wondered why Sanus mounts were so expensive in comparison

I did it today with the a ratchet, took a little time but it is tight and secure.
Where do I put my DVD player? Do people still use DVD players?

3.8 inches from the wall is huge.. I bought Sanus slim full motion mount and it is 1.86 depth from wall.
For $300?! 🤯👎🏻

Good point about studs not being centered to the wall. Glad I found you before I had an issue.
Could you give us a rundown of the bestbuy Black Friday deals that just started?
Would like to see you review a Mantle Mount TV Wall Mount Thanks

Hi! My TV (Loewe 55.5) has VESA mount points which are very recessed (2cm/1in). What would you recommend to mount a TV like this?

TCL 85" QM8 needs VESA 600x600. What do you recommend to wall mount this tv?
What about mounts that slide in the vertical axis? Or ones that can come down from over a mantle piece to in front of it?
I am shocked that he didn’t address this, as he claims to know all about mounts. I bought a MantleMount, which allows movement in the vertical direction.
My mount DEFINITELY can’t handle 85 inches 😂
So do I get the wall mount now with your discount or wait till Black Friday
The moment leveling is mentioned as an axis……
Thank you for your tips
Dose not work with 98 in tv
Thanks for the video
