Good videos, Chris. Realtor here. Toronto here. Similar size metro population in TO of around 6 million. Been to nearly all the big cities in the North East and Mid-Atlantic but never been to Philly. We hear about the bad stuff, but I agree that there seems to be a ton of overlooked good things there especially in the affordability department. Can't beat the regional location either, the ocean, DC, NY, are all close. Look forward to checking out Philadelphia in the not too distant future.

I feel like you chose the same neighborhood mostly, you just picked different sections of center city (other than Old City). I think No Libs more than meets your criteria, and has more of an enjoyable walking environment than both Washington Square or Logan Square and access to a couple of supermarkets as well as very close to Delaware River waterfront and an el stop. I also think Queen Village is great place and while they don't have supermarket per se in the neighborhood, it's much nicer to walk around there than several of neighborhoods you referenced.

thank you for your content, it's highly valuable. i live in jersey city, nj (right across the Hudson river from downtown Manhattan) and have visited Philly earlier this year for a brief weekend getaway. i really enjoyed the vibes of the Rittenhouse Sq-City Hall portion of the city. and considering your rents are literally half the price where I live I am seriously considering Philly as a mid- to long-term relocation point

Wouldn't say Trader Joe's is in the Rittenhouse area..... boundaries are not always that defined... and Wash Sq W is the least expensive of the three
