    Not really a split decision. The Senate was never a contest, to begin with, as Dems had to defend 24 seats, compared to the Republican's 8. Governor's races do make a greater suggestion of a split decision, with both parties taking wins in the midwest and a close race in Wisconsin, but gubernatorial races don't have as much to do with the national political environment as the House or Senate. Indeed, results in Wisconsin and Michigan were likely shaped far more by the local affairs of the two states. Walker especially is a polarising figure in his state.

    "Allah" comes from the root "Elah" and the plural is "Aliha." When the article "the" is placed in front of "Elah" in Arabic, it becomes "Al-lah." In this state the word can no longer be made plural, nor can it be associated with gender. That is to say, that "Allah" can actually be used to represent the meaning of "One only to be worshipped, never plural, always singular and never man nor woman."
    Quran is actually "alive" today in the hearts of over nine million (9,000,000) people around the world. This is a real miracle. There is no other book like it. No book can compare to it and no other major religion today has their original preserved in the original language by so many followers of the religion.

    • @FernandoGonzalezJay
      @FernandoGonzalezJay 6 лет назад +11

      No, duties are divided between both chambers so some things the house can do and some things the Senate can do. But in order for a bill to become law it must be passed by both chambers of Congress before getting to the president who signs it into law or vetoes it.
      I'd say a senator has more power than a house rep. There are only 100 senators compared to 300+ representatives. And I think but might be wrong senators terms are longer than house reps.
      And for there to be impeachment both chambers must agree. The house votes to impeach and then the Senate confirms it. Something like that. Happened with Clinton and another past president in the early years of the government I think. In the end they weren't impeached because one chamber didn't confirm it. I have to google it to make sure.lol

    Revisiting the midterms to try and help my predictions for November... a few things I’ve noticed include that if Michigan Democrats turned out to vote Snyder out of office over the flint water crisis, it seems almost certain they will do the same to Donald trump, especially seeing the approval ratings of the governor Gretchen Whitmer’s response to coronavirus. Also, it seems Florida and Texas are significantly more likely to be blue than before, especially as more and more people start falling ill to republican governors’ failed “attempts” to control the virus. I mean come on, Florida is getting obliterated right now and their governor repeatedly turns a blind eye... people are dying by the thousands because of republican leaders and there’s not a doubt in my mind that many people have come to this realization

    • @derektheseahawkslightningf2932
      @derektheseahawkslightningf2932 4 года назад +1

      I'd like to ask where you see Florida getting obliterated? Our death rate is really low considering 62.2% of deaths and 63% of cases are in 10 counties alone

    • @josephpetrongelli3998
      @josephpetrongelli3998 4 года назад

      Derek The Seahawks Fan the mortality of a disease isn’t the only associated issue. There are both short-term and long-term impacts of this virus, both on the economy and in health. I’m sick of seeing people say “well only X amount are dead.” So, you have to die to be considered a relevant statistic? Hospitals are overflowing and we’re nowhere near the end of this. If I get cancer and recover it doesn’t mean I’m 100% back to my normal health, I may have long-lasting complications or health problems, and it’s no different for Covid-19.

    • @derektheseahawkslightningf2932
      @derektheseahawkslightningf2932 4 года назад +1

      @@josephpetrongelli3998 Ofc the long term effects are unknown and I'd be worried too since this is a Chinese Bioweapon, however my point was more pointing towards how you are specifically blaming Republican governors even though not only as a country do we have one of the lowest death rates in the world compared to other developed nation's, but 30% of the nation's deaths came from NY and NJ alone. Both heavily Democratic areas.

    • @josephpetrongelli3998
      @josephpetrongelli3998 4 года назад

      Derek The Seahawks Fan New York and New Jersey are actually getting a hold on the virus though, states that have the biggest issues are the ones that are led by governors who refuse to impose mandates. And again, deaths aren’t the only relevant issue. And China isn’t relevant to this either, so stop scapegoating. This is an American problem and it’ll require an American solution because we suddenly decided America knows everything and the rest of the world knows nothing so we’re fighting this battle without the help of the rest of the world.
