I just got my speed 6 running with a 2.5 strait pipe with a 3” catless Downpipe and I could not believe how fast this car was. Easily the fastest car I’ve ever driven.
I did it, I bought one today! Finnaly found one with a sunroof and its in such good condition. I can not be happier, this car has been an obsession for me for many years.
That thing looks like it’s near if not over 500 whp, this platform is probably one of the more fun ones! Even tho I’ve only got around 300 whp, still a fun car!
I think abduls might have a little on the top end just based on side by side speedos. But both cars are so sick nonetheless. I wish I never stepped out of this platform… :( now I drive fuckin civic.
I work 7-4:30 6 days a week just working hard to get my speed6 back on the road and I know it’ll pay off sooner but love your vids and makes work hard as I want my 6 to push high number like yours

you need power to measure on the dino-stand and check the dynamics of your car with the draggy, this will be much more interesting than just free races into an empty one)

Are you leaving the balance shaft box in the oil pan for the RX8? I thought most performance oriented Ford builds remove that for quicker revvs. Looks super sick that's gonna be an internet hero when it's done.
Drag car. We just wanted a core that would be efficient at the power we’re going for. We think about stuff like having to turn around and get back in the lanes if we’re going rounds it will be big enough to take on more air and cool faster

That’s just simply a mock up engine in there so we can mock up parts while the race motor is being built

Blow off valve 100% atmospheric. It’s a VS Racing 50mm. Another great option is a turbosmart race port 50mm
