Wonderfull blessed❤❤❤
Liam and Arty, two of the greatest, now sadly passed on.
Liam we will always miss you!
Gran maestro! Tuve la oportunidad de verlo en directo. R.I.P.
When I think of O'Rourke's reel, I think of Paddy Keenan. When I think of Colonel Fraser, I think of Jerry O'Sullivan. But this is fantastic as well..
Liam O Flynn is a piping icon
AGAIN, THIS SHOULD GO DOWN AS ONE OF THE GREATEST IRISH BANDS IN HISTORY, IN A MUSIC HALL OF FAME:::))
I have heard colonel fraseres like this, without repetitions
Awesome
What a genius .
Great stuff,. God bless Liam and Arty.
checkout Michael O'Reileigh's version on his concertina CD.
Liam O'Flynn's some bit of a cousin to me- he's the reason I started moving the elbow...I wish I could play even 1/16 of how good he is. God of the pipes, him and Seamus Ennis.
You should have said ".....some bit of a cousin to me-self."
What a cousin you had!
fantastic best ever piano plus guitar is magic
Liam Ó Flynn your a Livin legend
Stíofán Ó Cíomhsóg nah he’s a dead legend now
this tune is outstanding colonel fraserone of the greatest keenan family also do a great job on it
This tune is not Colonel Fraser's Reel. It's a slip jig called
O'Farrell's Welcome to Limerick. A great tune and wonderfully played.
brilliant
Well done ✅🏆👍💯 RIP/VIP 💐💐
Es una belleza

Very true does anybody know which guitar Arty was playing ?
It's a high end Takamine
Loe Rowesome
does anybody know, who built this great set???
@@boxcoffey Liam's set of pipes were made by the uilleann pipe maker, uilleann piper, and teacher, Leo Rowsome in 1936 for Sean Reid. Paddy Donoghue, played them for while, and Willie Clancy also, then Liam played them for the rest of his life. They are now being played by Colm Broderick. a uilleann piper from Carlow.
@@thomasjohnson7871 thanks
The piano / keyboard ruins it. Not at all complimentary instruments.
Met him in my house once very interesting man
I agree. It's a throw back to English domination. It's even worse in Scotland, plonk plonk
